The defcon level was far lower than I would have expected

Bass is our guy. I'm sure he wishes he made the field goal with every fiber of his being
It's disgusting to come at him on social media and even worse to issue threats.

I feel fine. Allen is great. We have accumulated some decent young pieces in Kincaid, Cook, Torrence, Bernard, Benford, and Shakir (if he takes another step, lookout).
There are a lot of contract/cap issues coming up this season and it may have to be somewhat transitional, but even then I have faith that Allen could get them to a wild card and could get on a heater in the playoffs if healthy.
After that, if things are done correctly, we could be on another decent window. They really do need to get some weapons at WR though. 9 Picks this season and possibly some compensatories coming our way.
Priorities:
Wide Receiver(s)
Safety(s)
1 Tech DT
Future C.
Edge
Plan on the softest landing on transitioning away from Knox, White, Von, Diggs, Hyde, and Poyer. Hoping Gabe walks.

The public facing side of a head coach is a politician and a Grease man. After a big loss he is going to buffer his team the best he can. It might not always be the most satisfying thing to hear, but it is what needs to be done. From what I heard, he said offense was good, defense and special teams were a problem.
I don't have a huge problem with coaching in this game. In the parking lot, unanimously we knew this game was a huge uphill climb with the injuries and short week.
I really hate the stacked formation predictable 1st down cook runs into a brick wall for -1 to 1 yard that they have been obsessed with since the Chargers game. That cost them in the 4th quarter/2nd half.
The concerning thing out of this game was how they successfully killed off the majority of the 4th quarter and had the game where they wanted it at the 2 minute warning. The next 2-3 plays were death. Not sure where that falls, whether it's McDermott, Brady, or allen.
If the bills did the right thing there and scored a td with 25 seconds left and the chiefs no timeouts, the national media would be all over josh allen changing of the guard, and also McDermott coached a genius game keeping his beleaguered defense off the field vs mahomes

What % of Allen's interceptions were Davis passes this season?

I am pretty excited that we have Kincaid and Shakir. Shakir really broke out and could be in line for a HUGE season in 2024. If they can get Diggs back into form and add the right style WR in the draft, along with Cook, along with continuity on the offensive line, we could be in really good shape.
So yeah, Kincaid, Shakir, and Allen.

I say no.
The Bills were running on fumes. 7 weeks of must-win playoff football has taken a toll, while most playoff teams got to rest their starters in Week 18, and Baltimore enjoyed 2 weeks off.
-
The Bills had someone who was packing up their family camper for a trip to Key West 2 weeks ago installed as the staring MLB assigned to cover travis Kelce.

Last year was easy because the Bengals came in, beat their butts, and deserved to win. Cant get upset about that
This isn't easy because the Bills had the game in the palm of their hand, through all the adversity, and failed to execute when it mattered. Good teams come through after the 2 minute warning there with a touchdown.
So many unfair narratives are going to be borne from this game as well with Allen and Mahomes.

I dont blame Bass for the loss, but he has been a problem all season.

I think its fair. I thought he stunk.
If I see another 1st down Cook run into a sea of bodies on a predictable run on the same identical formation for between -1 and 1 yard, I'm going to scream

Brady needs to go.

Modest success in the MAC followed by maybe some learning and introspection in P5.
It sounds like a decent choice considering where the program is

one of the other aspects I’m weighing is that I’ll be needing hundreds of feet of extension cord. How do you guys generally hook up? Extension cord directly into the outlet or do you run one to a power strip and monitor your watts that you put into it?
We had an electrician install a secondary panel and there is an outlet for it outside the house. The generator plugs right into it. Switch main breakers off, generator panel on, and most of my downstairs, hvac, and sump have power

That's crazy and sad at the same time. I know some people will say, "oh yeah, poor billionaire," or something like that. But addiction is a monster, whether rich or poor. Every time you look at him or hear him speak, you can tell something is off. Then all of the back and forth about his previous arrest here recently. They will die on that hill of denial. It also goes to show that money cannot buy happiness. I hope he can get his life in order because Lord knows how much time he actually has left at this point.
I have nothing else to add. Perfect

I wonder if he realized he was in over his head and would never progress past UB as a head coach

Buffalo Sabres and NHL 2023-2024

It is an unserious franchise.
And Bills fans need to heed this warning. Be careful what you wish for in Pegula changing management. The Sabres are the worst-run team in pro sports, and it is not close. Somehow, McDermott and Beane keep Pegula's bungling insulated from the product. McDermott also finally exorcized the Russ Brandon demon.
