  1. You truly need to understand sentence structure. Periods used at the end of a sentence are called ellipses. They are used at the end of a sentence when a thought is unfinished. In your sentence "I truly believe you need to use spell check.....", you should have used a period. Your thought was finished and no assumption of an unfinished thought could be presumed. Therefor your use of ellipses was a grammatical error. Don't throw stones..... You're welcome Don.
  2. That's why he said it was speculation. Just a feeling he has. Many of us are reading between the same lines. Doesn't mean that it's not fun to entertain the idea. Isn't that what this arena is for, to bring up topics of discussion and give your reason's for believing or not believing?
  3. Billick. I just think he commands the rooms attention. We seem like an unfocused team, I think he would bring that.
  4. I actually think we should and will go after Vick this off season. He may be the most viable option at getting our dismal QB situation corrected in the short term. We won't have to trade a guy like Lynch to get him. I think a 4th round pick would do it. This team needs Vick.
  5. No. I think he's saying the players won't do that, so Wilson Should force Fewell to play all the young guys to induce a loss. And from the fans perspective, he understands we can't root for losses, but we should understand that it's best for the franchise.
  6. Exactly. Plus what other teams are doing now on both sides of the ball has changed a lot. I'm sure a guy like Levy could still motivate, but preparation would be a major issue.
  7. You draft for the future, not for immediate need. Just because they had an immediate need at a position they drafted, doesn't mean that is the wrong thing to do.
  8. Thank you, finally a sane answer.
  9. The only thing patently absurd is the idea that with Evans on the other side, Hardy or Johnson would see any balls. Lee Evans can't get open with Owens on the other side. With Owens on the other side Hardy and/or Johnson just might have a chance to develop. If Owens gets let go your pipe dream of seeing Johnson on crossing and slant patters would be over.
  10. I think Lee Evans should sit so we can take a look at Johnson and/or Hardy. Keep Owens so those guys have a prayer at seeing a ball.
  11. The crowd was so ruckus. I think that is what was wrong with our offense, they couldn't hear.
  12. Fewell has this defense ready to play. They look great. Why go after an experienced coach when we have all we need right here.
  13. Mario Williams had 4.5 sacks and 35 solo tackles in his first year and started every game. That's hardly dominant in his first year. Good God man give Maybin some time. You say guys like Mario Williams "never" need time to develop, well you are almost completely wrong. Most guys need time to develop.
  14. Yes I guess that does seem like an option they could offer, but apparently that is the heart of the debate. I guess I have disdain for the cable companies. I would think that not having access to the NFL ticket is having a lot to do with T-W not budging on the NFL channel issue.
  15. My directv bill didn't go up a dime when I received the NFL channel and hasn't gone up since. You can't be serious when you typed "T-W is unwilling to raise rates"? That's all they did until they finally got some competition from Satellite companies. You must have meant; they will raise prices to their customers to add the NFL channel and if they do their customers will drop them, so therefor they don't want to pay the NFL for the rights.
  16. From what I understand, the genesis of the dispute was that Time Warner wanted to make it a pay per month channel and the NFL said absolutely not. It escalated from there. I blame Time Warner.
  17. You are wrong. Buffalo would be a very attractive place for Gruden, Shannahan, Cowher and Holmgren. You just don't know what you are talking about. Schottenheimer gets fired where ever he goes because he causes problems with every front office he has worked for. That sounds like a good fit? He's a great coach, but he's also the T.O. of coaches.
  18. Thanks, I'll try that.
  19. Yeah your probably right, I do insult people more than I talk football. But to clear up the perception, I guess you would classify me as a reader rather than a poster. I spend every bit as much time on here reading as anyone with a lot of posts, if that makes sense? And when I read these guys posts after posts after posts after posts, just ruining my "reading" experience it just irks the hell out of me and I just have to type to let my aggravation out. So I guess I can understand what you are saying about me, but as a reader I guess I feel just as much apart of this site as a reader than anyone that posts a lot. Then when I get on here to get my news daily and click from thread to thread and have to read the same guys posting ridiculous comment after ridiculous comment when all you want to do is read good football talk, I just loose it on these people.
  20. I wish you were, you need to calm down. Your negativity is boring.
  21. Mike Zimmer, there you go, there's the unproven coach you've been clambering for. And now you have an idiot like Peter King to help you promote it. Are you finally happy you pessimistic negative Nelie? Mike Zimmer to save the Bills and redeem them from their playoff drought. Just kind of makes you want to go buy a jersey.
  22. I don't understand. You claim we can't hire a top coach because we are cheap and can't outbid Jones and Snyder (not snider), but then you want them to can the rest of the front office and get a staff worth a damn. How would you propose to accomplish that with your proposed theory that we can't?
  23. You're a joke.
  24. Please shut up, all you do is complain.
