  1. In about a thousand years it WILL be in Buffalo though.
  2. Must be Miami's. Jay Fiedler isn't worth a damn.
  3. “Much as the residents of Luganga wanted to kill the reptile after our rangers had captured it..." That croc better hope the sanctuary has metal detectors.
  4. Then there was the time I told Bruce Mathison I was at the game where he threw a touchdown pass, and he knew exactly which game I was talking about. Mathison...Dufek...Kofler...Ferragamo... and we complain about Collins, Flutie, RJ, AVP and Drew.
  5. I guess my question for him would have been "If Mike Williams is an 'outstanding' football player, why aren't you going to try him at left tackle?"
  6. Cats-vs.-dogs conversations aside, I still don't understand how this thread got to six pages without a single mention of Vince Ferragamo and the crib sheet that ran from his wrist to his shoulder.
  7. Plus, don't forget, his dad screwed us on HomeJob ThrowUp. He's the guy who was 20 yards out of position and called that a fuggin lateral. Not that there aren't plenty of other reasons not to want the guy, but it doesn't help.
  8. Anyone want to bet this isn't the first time Ned's walked off with someone else's stuff?
  9. To paraphrase Bill Terry, are the Dolphins still in the league?
  10. Sorry, Rayzer, but until you change your avatar I'm going to have an awfully hard time actually finishing any of your posts.
  11. I remember the year Corker was the big trade pickup at the deadline by the Sabres. I almost put my fist through a wall.
  12. Apparently he's a former LT starter... for the Bears, though. Can also play guard. Guess this was our big OL pickup, folks.
  13. He related to Wayne Gandy?
  14. I never understood a single word he said, but I helped him a-drinkin' his wine. Yes he always had some mighty fine wine!
  15. I thought the Giants trained in Albany.
  16. To each his own, man. There's a lot more to the Dead than "Truckin'," and personally, I'd rather the people who come expecting to hear "Truckin'" and "Casey Jones" (because those are the only songs they've heard) just stay home instead. Are you saying that Floyd never did extended solos?
  17. I think deep down a lot of people are opposed to this because they're in awe of the Great God Belichick. You know, "if Belichick lets him go then the guy must be finished," yadda yadda. That said, if Ty Law is healthy and if he is willing to take less than top dollar up front (i.e. a nice backloaded contract without a huge signing bonus that still allows him to say "i got mine" while allowing Buffalo to release him after three years without a huge cap hit), I am all for getting him in here. Clements, Law, Vincent and Milloy, with McGee as the nickelback? Are you kidding me? Who wouldn't want a secondary like that? Plus Eric Moulds would be as happy as a pig in sh-- without having to play against Law twice a year.
  18. Vincent seemed "better" to me when he came back from his injury and played free safety. Our secondary seemed "better" too because we had two experienced guys in the middle of the field and Terrence McGee, by the end of the season, was a bona fide starting CB in this league. I would rather have Clements, McGee, Milloy and Vincent back there than Clements, Winfield, Milloy and Baker/Wire/Prioleau/Reese. So in that sense letting Winfield go and signing Vincent was a smart move AND saved us money.
  19. So anyway, I thought it was a good post. I think MW is ready to play the left side and we can get a free agent RT cheaper. I think Tucker, Teeague and Villarrial are fine on the interior. I really do. Christ at least we're not playing Smith and Pucillo. I think Ron Edwards played great when Sam had his hissy fit and is ready to start in this league. Remember, Phat Pat didn't really come into his own until well into his 20s. I think we need a third receiver but we don't have to overpay for one. I also think that if we can't get what we want for Travis then he can damn well sit on our bench this year and take advantage of the opportunity to prove himself in backup situations. We need a backup QB but I'm not impressed enough with what's out there to pay the current going rate for the "popular" choices. I've got no problem waiting a while until the market shakes out. I think we need to extend Nate Clements because he is all that, and because I don't want to go into 2006 with McGee as my top corner. In closing, while I'd love to see some news now, I understand why nothing's happening, and I'm glad TD isn't listening to some of the banshees on here.
  20. Maybe it's TD posting there just to fug with people's minds.
  21. WXXI in Rochester is showing the Dead Movie right now -- and advertising Dick's Picks Vol. 34 from the War Memorial in November 1977!
  22. Morlon Greenwood to Texans. This guy was their best linebacker IMHO. At least he seemed to stay on the field more than Zach Thomas did.
  23. I saw the trailer for The Pacifier. It looks kind of like The Great Santini meets Big Daddy.
  24. Actually, I meant that the misleading title of the post was annoying, and I meant that the fact that this is about the third time this news was posted was annoying but ... yeah, the fact that our lone publicized FA visit so far is a friggin' long snapper is annoying too.
  25. This is just annoying.
