never say dead. i'll bet you anything that gaither gets traded. he has not taken a snap since day one. he supposedly has a minor foot issue yet he still is not on the field what does that tell you? IMO it means they do not want to risk him getting hurt then killing any trade possibilities. secondly the ravens keep raving about cousins the guy who would replace gaither @ RT that IMO also speaks volumes of the true intentions of the ravens. while schefter is a very good reporter probably the best there is the distinct possibility that he does not know what is going on behind the scenes with the ravens and who ever in regards to trading gaither. time will tell but if the ravens are not going to pay him LT money which they wont then if they let him play RT this year they loose him next year for nothing. this is their last chance to get something for him believe me he's going to get traded to who i dont know. however never say never its still very early!

besides gaither all the guys you mentioned are garnering very little interest from any team that IMO speaks volumes. there has to be a reason. the whole NFL is not stupid. besides gaither all the guys you listed are either old or have not played well in years why you would want them is beyond me!

does anyone think the new regime after evaluating the young talent we were forced to acquire due to injury last year one being Meridith that the new brass feels we have a good LT already on the team? i'm telling you all to go do a google search on Meridith and it will blow your mind how highly rated he was. now all the know it all's will say why was he on GB's practice squad. well to tell the truth i dont know but there could be a million reasons. i know one thing that physically he is one gifted LT and he is perfectly buitl to be a proto typical LT. he started 38 games in collage the last 28 @ LT his junior and senior year.his combine stats were great and i believe he was second in the bench press. what i'm really hoping for is that this off season knowing the LT position was open he worked his butt off and gained 20 lbs. the only knock on the kid coming out was that he was only 300 lbs. that should be no problem the guy is 6 foot 5. if he broke his butt then we could have a younger better jason peters. dont forget peters was a TE in collage and had to transition to OL in the pros. that was not the case with Meridith he was always a tackle and started 38 collage games as a LT and a few @ guard due to injuries on his collage team. i know one thing they were trying to stash him there and i have to give credit to the bills for grabbing him last year. i get this opinion from reading all the articles from scouts and other football people when i googled him and watching him play last year. secondly regarding to the QB position. everybody and their grand mother was of the opinion that this was not a good draft for the QB position. well it turned out that they were right. everyone bitches that we didnt take mccoy or clausen but there was a reason they fell so far. clausen went from a top 10 pick to a mid second rounder and colt fell much further. forget the bills who half the people on these boards hate anyway but was the rest of the NFL also brain dead? why if these 2 guys were such good QB's did every team pass on them also there were a lot of teams who needed QB's and they still passed on them. so i guess the whole NFL is stupid and we the fans and worse yet the asinine media know better yea OK!

especially in his rookie season he will not be in a position to block much because on passing downs he could be in either slot,or set out wide or split in the backfield. in the begining they will not ask him to block much because they are going to want to get the ball in his hands!

i do not believe it required surgery. do you think that nix and galiey dont know the extent of his injury? really man if they thought it would preclude him from playing then he would not be an option. i still think they are in the flozell and gaither market no matter what!

i think you are misunderstanding him. i believe what he was politly trying to say was the bills didnt think they could start from day one but he showed the players some respect by saying "not that they couldnt". IMO it means the bills did not think they could start and contribute immediatly but that you never know maybe they could but it was obvious the bills had a conviction that they could not!

spiller is a great slot receiver. can you imagine our 4 receiver set with evans and johnson on the outside and spiller and roscoe in the slots. i get a woddy just thinking about it! defenses are going to have their hands full!

your freaking clueless he had the best draft for the bills in the last 10 years last year. he also wanted cushing @ #1 and was overruled by DJ. lynch is a great back. watch out for maybin this year in his natural position as a 3/4 OLB I'll bet my life he gets double digit sacks. whitner is also a great player who can play any position in the secondary and has the last 3 years due to injury which hurts his ability to play saftey. modrak is a great talent evaluator you haven't got a clue about football! by the way donohoe drafted mike williams another example of your total lack of knowledge about the game and about the bills!
