Its not Maybins fault. DJ is the as- hole who drafted a 20 year old sophomore DE who played 12 games @ around 222 lbs. he has grown each year physically. dont forget that he just turned 22 and should be a senior this year @ Penn State. he needs another year in the weight room this off season so he can get his weight up to about 255 or 260 then he gets next years training camp to put it all together if he fails then its over. mark my words they will not cut maybin if they ever do until after the pre season next year they have to much invested and it makes no sense to cut him now. everyone knows it takes at least 3 years to evaluate a draft pick especially a #11 pick. if he does not produce next year then its see ya. personally i think next year as he matures both physically and mentally he will become the 3/4 OLB we all want him to be.

anyone who thinks fitz is our future is absolutly insane. thank God the bills are not dumb they will get their franchise QB this year mark my words. lastly i think our O/L is going to be just fine. they played a great game sunday against one beastly defense all they need is expirance they are beginning to jell.our guards are going to be great. our center is very very good . just like Galiey said all Bell needs is expirance and the way cordero played in his first game was amaizing especially against that defense. say bye,bye to Green he will not see the field again in a bills uniform unless we get injuries. we dont need a TE to start. nelson is going to be a very very good player. he has it all size and speed and great hands. he is a perfect stretch the field TE. we will not invest a high pick on a TE no way.

what everyone is forgetting is our young O/L and how great they preformed sunday. i have been saying and mike mayock has said it numerous times that the bills have the 2 best young guards in the NFL they played like it yesterday. nobody gives hangartner any credit but he is the best center we have had in over 5 years and he is also very smart football player. chan has been saying that bell is a great young talent and everyone has mocked him for saying as much well he sure as hell played very well yesterday also. everyone also seems to forget how green the kid was when he drafted him he had only played 12 games as a starter in collage and was a fomer basketball player but as chan said he is a great athleate and he showed it yesterday. that leaves howard a freaking rookie who played like a solid veteran yesterday against a top 5 defense in the game. remember ray lewis threatening us last week after their loss,"i feel sorry for buffalo". still think he thinks that way? lastly terrel suggs a pro bowl player and one of the best at his position in the league gave our team and our running props after the game." that was one tough football team and they play very hard and those 2 backs i didnt think 2 much of before today but they are good no other backs ever did what they did to us today" i'm telling you just like chan has been telling us since the season started its going to take time for the line to jell and dont forget they are learning a new offense to boot beside being young and inexperienced. i hope and pray that yesterday our line came of age and you know they are only going to get better the more they play together. anyone think that cornell green is getting his job back? i dont think so. maybe there is hope after all. we all know it all starts up front and after the performance of our young tallented offensive line against a beastly defense on the road yesterday i think things are looking up for our O/line and our offense.

dont understand are you trying to say there are not going to be any great QB prospects in the 2011 draft because for a long time now all i have read is that this is the year to get your QB and they are comparing this crop of young OB's to the 1983 draft. so what are you trying to say? i know one thing if luck comes out (and IMO he will) there is no doubt in my mind that the bills will take him if we own the #1 pick. there is also no doubt in my mind that he will be our starer from game one the kid is incredible and a lot of people are saying he is the best prospect to come out in 10 years. look i dont hate fitz i just know he is not a franchise QB by any stretch of the imagination. you would be hard pressed to find 5 teams in the NFL where he would have even the slightest chance of starting. the teams you would find are the teams with no QB @ all. i want a great QB like manning or brady and if one is available this year i know the bills will take him.all these people who want Fitz as our starter for the future are IMO out of your freaking minds.

half the franchise QB's in the league are not mobile. manning,brady,flacco,rogers and on and on. i have seen mallett play a lot and the guy is a very tough,accurate QB with all the intangibles. to say he is immobile means nothing the kid can flat out play and i would love for him to be a bill. would i rather have Luck you bet.Locker i dont know,i do know Locker is barley 6'2" which scares me a little and he comes from a wishbone offense most of his career that would not work in the NFL. if QB's run in the NFL its just a matter of time before they are knocked out. Mallett is a extremely competitive pure pocket passer with incredible size,moxie and arm strength. why you wouldn't like that is beyond me.

you are totally correct everybody thinks modrak made all the picks the last 5 years or more . the truth of the matter is he was head of scouting. even thurman thomas said last week on his show that modrak is a great talent evaluator and he said that came from the mouth of bill polian himself. you are also correct in that Modrak wanted Cushing and recommended that he be our pick but was overruled by DJ. look you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink it. to blame modrak for these bad picks is idiotic.

unlike a lot of guys on this board IMO he will come out for a myriad of reasons and if he comes out he will definatly be the #1 pick. IMO if we have the #1 pick he will be a bill and there's no doubt about that in my mind. the kid has the IT factor in spades and is the best QB prospect to come out in many many years and i have watched the kid play a lot. he is already a fantastic QB and will start from day one no matter where he ends up.

i guess his total lack of accuracy doesant count.he is the most innacurate QB in the NFL. he throws one good pass then 10 hoffiffic passes that either bounce off the ground or sail miles over an open receivers head or he under throws them. the guy can run the offense but thats about it.

when we draft a QB with our #1 pick you can bet your last dollar fitz will under no circumstances be our starter next year. i cant think of a QB drafted in the top 5 in recent history who did not start his rookie year.

bill polian said Modrak is one of the best personnel men around and that is coming from the mouth of thurman thomas who was told this by polian himself and thurman said so on his show last monday. he is getting blamed for all these first round picks where the truth is and was that he was overruled on several occasions by DJ ot Marv and was not in charge of making the picks. he was asked for his opinion but the final call the last 5 years came form DJ or Marv. its common knowledge that modrak wanted Brian cushing last year as our pick and DJ overruled him and took Maybin yet all you guys blame modrak. modrak is a great evaluator of talent has been for almost 40 years and is responsible for building the Eagles and picking McNabb. however the truth of the matter is that he does not make the picks come draft day with the previous administrations. he was the head of collage scouting. you can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink. thats what happened with modrak the last 5 years. he gave his opinions but did not make the picks. the guy was not the GM the last 5 years the fact of the matter is the bills kept offering the job to him but he didnt want it. he's happy in florida and has been for the last 5 years doing what he does best and thats scouting. yet all you morons blame him for all the first round failures when in fact he did not make the picks. the guy has been in the business of scouting for almost 4 decades and polian knows how good he is and he told thurman as much. however all the morons out there still keep blaming him for the bills failures and you all could not be more incorrect.

he is just expressing his opinion which means nothing. the only way luck will not come out is if there is an agreement on the CBA which is highly in doubt. with a rookie wge scale coming in a new agreement luck will have no choice but to come out if no new CBA is reached by april which IMO is highly doublful. sirius radio interviewed many NFL GM's and mike lombardi and they are all certain that luck will come out this year,lets keep our fingers crossed.

only problem is that this team this year is not undersized. where are we undersized. not the offensive or defensive lines and not line backers. the only lineman we have who is a little undersized is williams and he is our best d/lineman along with edwards.troupe is plenty big enough to play NT and he is just a baby and can add 10 to 15 lbs in the off season with no problem. so IMO that issue does not apply this year.
