have you not read that he will be in buffalo for the whole offseason. so he will be training and rehabing @ the stadium w/his teammates and doing a lot of film study so i do not think its as bleak as you make it. secondly i think steve johnson is going to be a big part of this offense next year anyway. hardy will get his chances in the very least in the red zone. he had his year of learning and adjusting this past year.

you dont have to knock leron but he is their staring halfback not willis. when rice was healthy willis was third string. everything i have read is that this will be his last year in baltimore. the reason he received more snaps yesterday is that leron hurt his ankle and rice is still not 100%.

i think your wrong on this one. i think by keeping DJ they are taking one run @ this thing and will be players in this years free agency. somehow they have to get birk out of minny bad and then draft that kid from cal to groom behind him. bad thing is that the dolphins have also targeted birk so its going to be costly. then they need a TE and OLB and a pass rusher either LB or DE. obviously free agency will determine where we go in the draft and i very confident in Modrak in regards to that.

i'll take Modrak any day over him. somehow they have to convince Modrak to be the GM and put him in charge of all personnel matters and dump john guy. i think if they let Modrak run the whole personnel aspect we will greatly improve.

as usual i was at the game. that play made me sick. i felt so bad for Edwards. it was like third and 13 and that throw was a freaking unbelievable throw thru 3 defenders right in both his hands on the sideline. all he had to do was step out of bounds. if that guy is on the team next year i will physically throw up. we need a center who can anchor(birk). a linebacker and another pass rusher and we could have a great team. i know people dont want to hear about injuries but when we lost schobel our defense was finished and then to lose youboty and both starting corners killed us. and everyone who blamed the bills in the crowell deal well we were all dead wrong. he had micro fracture surgery which is very serious and coldnt play even if it was january,they made the right call there. we are not that far away IMO. if we had a real center our line could be dominant. instead our guards have to constantly help out either one of our centers. right now we dont even have a back up center on this team. a center and TE and our offense would be dangerous. as for coaching i dont know what to do. i dont want to start over from scratch again. I'm leaning to upgrading at the aforementioned positions and maybe giving DJ and freaking turk one more year. just my 2 cents.

our o/line is no way abysmal. our center position is. its very hard for our 2 guards and 2 tackles to play without a center. we have not had a quality NFL caliber center for 4 years. IMO center is our #1 priority this off season and if we get one (the kid from cal God willing) then you watch how dominating our line has a chance to be. there is no way in hell a o/line can be dominant if you are weak up the middle and our 2 centers are not weak but absolutely pitiful. facing 3/4 teams 6 times a year in our division alone without a center is absolutely killing us and until we find a competent center we are doomed. in regards to trent if the new york giant fans had their way last year eli would have been run out of town. its common knowledge with young NFL QB's that you have to take your licks with them and most of all let them play and learn on the job there is no other way. bill walsh knows quarterbacks and he absolutely loved edwards thats good enough for me and no message board arm chair coaches are going to convince me otherwise.

if you are older than 10 and you have not been out of the country the last 4 years then you definitely have issues. concerning QB play in this league you are definitely clueless to make a statement that JP should be a starter anywhere in this league. i have been one JP's biggest supporters however he simply does not have what it takes between his ears to play in this league. i will bet you my first child that he does not have a starting job in the league next year when he leaves. I'll even take it one step further he may not even be in the league next year if he is he will be some teams third stringer.
