"do you think we will sign him" who the hell knows and yes i think they will. second he is under contract for 2 more years. if he pulls the same crap as last year (and i dont think he will) so be it jason peters @ 80% is better than 75 % of the starting tackles in the league so whats the problem. we have enough holes to fill and like it or not peters does not hold the cards the bills do and no rookie can replace JP. so try getting realistic and not creating more holes than we allready have by suggesting something as stupid as trading a pro bowl LT in his prime who is under contract for 2 more years because of money which we have plenty of.

with our needs you cant be serious about drafting a WR @#11 thats insane. we will draft a DE,LB,or TE @ 11 if the bills dont get a center in free agency then IMO we would try to drop down to get a center.

he's a collage scout and its a great blessing for the bills that he and the as-hole AJ had a falling out. the guy is a great personnel man with decades of scouting knowledge. anyone who questions this move is lost.

if you think duke is anything more than a journeyman you dont have a clue. mark my words the bills will have a new center to start the 2009 season. i'm willing to bet that by 0100 hours the first night of free agency birk is a bill. if that does not happen then with the weak draft for DE's and if the linebackers are gone @ 11 and any of the OT's or QB's drop i believe the bills will seriously try to drop down and grab one of the top centers in round 1 or 2. however i would bet the house that preston is not our starting center next year.

pat kirwin and tim ryan both @ the senior bowl all week both said the other day that mack will be starting for some team his rookie year. i dont know what your talking about mangold started and played well his rookie year. i still think the bills are going to push hard for birk and draft a center to develope. we all should remember that what the bills do in free agency is going to impact our draft strategy. really i'm not thrilled with the DE's in this draft so i dont think they are going that route in the draft and i dont think the TE is worthy pf #11. if i had to bet i would think they hope one of the premier LB's fall to us,otherwise i think they try hard to drop down and we know how difficult that is.

you may be right but every site i have gone to has him flagged with bad character issues and you know the bills stance on character plus i dont believe he is the best player that will be available @ #11. we have bigger needs @ center linebacker and de however i am not impressed with the DE's in this draft @ 11.

the bills have a problem that being that there is not a TE or a DE worthy of #11. however that could be good news if one of the elite OT's or QB's drops allowing us to trade and drop down to pick up one of the 2 elite centers in this draft and in the process acquiring additional picks which we need.

the guy is a thug and a very bad character guy and not really an elite TE worthy of #11 no freaking way do the bills touch the guy

i dont know where your getting your info but on Sirius radio w/kirwin and Ryan now they are discussing the senior bowl on site with todd mcshay from ESPN. they say the most impressive guy is BC DT BJ Ragi and they all said he is dominating both mack and unger and throwing them around like rag dolls. look dont kill the messenger i know we need a center but i say we get birk for 2 years and draft either unger or mack in the second and get them experience. God forbid this Ragi falls to #11 because the bills will have some very intriguing options including taking him or it could open some very viable legit options to drop down and pick up possibly another second round pick. however IMO the bills would snatch the guy if he were there @ 11. he's listed @ 6/1 340 so his size and speed could dominate very interesting guy. they cant stop raving about the kid. they compared him to a bigger much stronger ellis from last year.
