  1. So funny how people try to compare QBs just because they went to the same college. Those guys weren't even under the same coach. What college is rolling out the stud QBs these days? Can you even point to one college that has two good current NFL QBs? Didn't think so.
  2. A. Miller played as a true Freshman, Wallace did not. B. If MIller played this season he would have blown Wallace's stats this season out of the water. C. You also said Wallace had better legs and then completely ignored the fact that you had no idea what you were talking about when you looked up the stats. D. Ohio State runs a run first offense so his stats are handicapped. I would take Millers junior year season over Wallace's any day of the week and if you actually watched any Ole Miss games this year you would see that 2 of the losses were directly attributable to Wallace's idiotic decision making (LSU and Arkansas) and some of the wins were despite it (Memphis, Miss St, Tenn). But at least he did a really nice job of padding his stats vs Vanderbilt, Louisiana-Lafayette, and the powerhouse Presbyterian. I'd be surprised if Wallace is even drafted (not that I would be surprised if MIller was not, but you get my point).
  3. At least he went to Dr. Andrews for the surgery, if anyone can fix it it's him. And, in reality, every single QBs prospects for NFL success are slim, unless you are a prospect like Manning, Luck, or Elway. The rest are just luck of draw and you never know until they are out there on the field.
  4. Your act is so old.
  5. He has a much better arm than Tebow and a much better runner. Also, it's not like you'd have to give up your 1st, 2nd or 3rd for the guy, he would be available late. Again, he needs developing for sure, but his skills are there. Prior to his injury he was considered a favorite for the Heisman and one of the top 10 QB prospects for the NFL in college. Did you really just say Braxton has no accuracy and then say Bo Wallace does and then say Bo Wallace has better legs??? That is a crazy statement.
  6. Not bad at all. I love me some Duke Johnson. This draft is loaded at RB.
  7. This would obviously be a very dark horse selection at QB for the Bills but does anyone else want to entertain the thought of us taking Braxton Miller? With the emergence of JT Barrett this year, I find it hard to believe that the Buckeyes would go back to Miller next season. If he knows he is no longer considered the starter, it would make sense for him to enter the draft. Now, coming off shoulder surgery I'm sure many teams would be skeptical and even completely take them off their draft boards, with good reason. But if we could snag him in a 6 or 7th round pick scenario, I would be all over it. Granted, this kid is not the answer for next season and still needs development time which I'm sure most of you are not on board with, but he has a tremendous arm, is an unbelievable athlete and has shown nice progression from year to year while at Ohio State improving his completion %, TD/INT ratio, and passer rater each season and he can flat out make things happen out of the pocket and has decent size to be able to take a hit. Anyone else liking this?
  8. I'd just rather take a shot on someone who hasn't started 70 games and looked pretty bad in most of them. To me, you know what you are getting out of Sanchez and it isn't pretty. I'd rather get more of an unknown that could surprise if given a shot.
  9. I don't know why anyone thinks Mark Sanchez is a viable option at QB for success. Can someone please explain this to me.
  10. I hope that was the reason. I saw flashes of what could be a very nice RB. Gotta protect the ball better though.
  11. Uhh, the season just ended and our offense was one of the worst in the league...again. This is the exact time to speculate on another OC.
  12. Unless you're privy to the locker room, it's really impossible to say one way or the other isn't it? I definitely heard talk that Cutler was horrible at calling audibles in obvious situations where he should have, especially in the running game, but who really knows? All I know is that they had Forte, Marshall, Jeffrey, Bennett, and a strong armed QB and they didn't get the job done.
  13. He sure did butcher a Bears offense loaded with exceptional talent this year though. That horrific defense probably didn't help that out though and he is surely an upgrade over Hackett.
  14. There was also a non-PI call against our D late in the game that helped make up for it. I think it was also Brooks who clearly grabbed the WRs arm well before the pass was there. This was by far the most fair game I've seen the refs call against the Pats in a long, long time.
  15. I'd give you 10-1 odds of that never happening. Wanna take it?
  16. And that only happened because the Chargers thought his arm might fall off. Also, Cutler is not a free agent, he just re-signed a huge deal just about a year ago now. He very well may be available via trade though but I highly doubt he gets flat out cut.
  17. Sorry, but you are using facts and logic here. Clearly you are in the wrong forum.
  18. Do yourself a favor and look up all the QBs drafted in the first round over the past 15 years and tell me what % of those are "franchise" QBs. The number will be very small. Also, any trade can be looked upon poorly in hindsight, at the time of the deal Watkins was the ONLY receiver seen as a guaranteed thing in the draft. The ONLY one.
  19. Exactly. Whaley is actually doing a great job in my opinion. He traded back and got the QB they wanted in EJ (while adding Woods or Kiko can't remember which one), hasn't worked out so far for EJ. They brought in Orton, he retired. They brought in Lewis, Tuel, Flynn, Palmer, Kolb and others I'm surely forgetting. The point is, they are bringing in everyone and anyone to try and get it right. It's damn hard to find a great QB but Whaley has shown me that he willing to put in the work and effort to do it, it's just a matter of hitting on one of these guys. It's like you guys think that great QBs grow on trees or are easily acquired from other teams, they are not. The only guy that they missed on who would have been a great fit is Alex Smith, but who knows if he had any desire at all to even come here. I certainly would have rather gone to Andy Reid and the Chiefs over a struggling franchise with a new head coach with zero NFL experience and an ownership / future in limbo like we had at the time.
  20. You may want to consider what the value of Beckham was at the time of the trade, not 8 months later when he far exceeded everyone's expectations for him. Some people are just unreal.
  21. All I can say is when I watched NC State vs FSU in EJ and Glennon's last season, I was way more impressed with Glennon. Admittedly, I have not watched too many Bucs games to have an opinion on him in the NFL, but he does have a rocket arm.
  22. You also have to know when to cut ties with something / someone that is not working. Hackett has his chance, two years with no improvement (and arguably a worse performance) is enough evidence for me. If he stays, I'll be far from thrilled. When i can sit on my couch and predict the Bills next offensive play over 50% of the time, there is a serious problem.
  23. The Bills were definitely better than the Browns, Falcons, Giants, Saints, and Panthers. If you don't see how crappy the NFC South is, you shouldn't be making this list. They all finished below .500 and all got to play each other twice!
  24. Noticed that monster in the Bowl game vs Miami. I was thinking, that dude has to be related to Art, he's gigantic. Forgot to look it up, now I know! If he progresses a little bit he and Kessler could be battling it out for #1 overall.
  25. That's dated October 15th, most likely out of date at this point. Garrett Grayson has certainly played himself onto the list.
