  1. If Josh does not find some way to cut down on the turnovers he will likely continue to be both a Bills game killer and may even severely stain his career. Josh is no doubt a first ballot HOF talent. Josh also has the talent to win multiple Lombardi’s Whether he achieves these outcomes may largely depend on his ability to cut down on the turnovers. In the Bills losses this year Josh has been a turnover factory. yes, batted balls, strips and the like are not always his “fault.” However, the statistics don’t lie. Josh is boom or bust and lately he has been far more prone to bust. We as fans will have zero impact here. However, I wonder if Brady as a new OC will literally and figuratively help Josh get a handle on the situation. Josh has turned around weaknesses in his game in many ways. Turnovers now remain the last most obvious hurdle where he needs to do so. As a contrarian point, Josh is not among the worst at interception % among the all time “greats.” It’s apples and oranges due to the prevalence of the pass game in the modern era but on a straight up % Jim Kelly and Dan Marino were worse. For a better comparison to “modern era” QB’s Aaron Rogers is far better (and can be a gunslinger). https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_int_perc_career.htm Your thoughts?
  2. I highly doubt anyone high in the Bills food chain reads here. There is probably somebody in marketing / PR team that does. Why not? It’s free feedback for the Bills. I highly doubt there is no it much discussed here that would come as a surprise to the Bills anyway.
  3. Remember that Josh was (maybe is no longer?) a Dorsey supporter. I think the Dorsey firing may be a message to Josh also. Hard to say because josh is Josh and no coach will ever take the gunslinger out of him. The question is goes Brady have the hutzpah and ability to work with this? Dabol seemed to be able to do so. The other major issue is that Dorsey seemed to have no creativity with the run game. I would say the same was true with Dabol. One way to mak Josh better is to give him the threat of a run game. This will likely mean moving him back under center more and playing RPO less. I know it is a completely different era of football but Jim Kelly does not achieve what he did without Thurman. In the modern era Josh needs to develop trust with his running backs as does the team. We will not return to the bell cow RB situation but opposing teams need to perceive there is at least the threat of Buffalo running the ball.
  4. Just pure speculation but i think Dabol may have worn out his welcome in Buffalo.
  5. Amen^^^ ”some people’s want Marv Levy back to coach….. He’s 98 years old. …..” That was awesome ….
  6. I think it has more to do with RPO … on RPO plays Josh is far more often likely to keep the ball. Maybe Cook was playing it slow soft to let Josh keep it……
  7. This article suggests there has been continuing interest in him from other teams. Story suggests he climbed too quickly. Maybe he learned some things to not repeat from his Carolina days. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/news/joe-brady-is-receiving-interest-for-offensive-coordinator-jobs
  8. you put your sex toys in the dishwasher???????
  9. You can boil it down to three issues: * An over reliance on shotgun * A lack of a run game out of shotgun primarily due to vanilla scheme * An over reliance on big plays to dig out of holes and then stalling out due to no run game. To me the net of this is that Dorsey is way too enamored with Josh’s arm. This then spills over to the rest of the offense that believes too much in Josh’s arm. I have solidly joined the camp that says Dorsey is the problem (the film does not lie). The Bills run scheme is pop warner and it is causing them to waste Josh’s talent.
  10. [This is an automated response] This topic is no longer contributing positively to the community and therefore the discussion has been closed. Thank you. I get sarcasm or humor but this thread and topic are just plain stupid and a waste of everyone’s time.
  11. To me this analysis shows the Bills have changed to a system offense that is predictable and too easy for defenses to read. They have become productive in gaining yards but stale. I am becoming a believer in the idea that Dorsey is they wrong coach.
  12. I agree, everyone has “tip jars” out. If not that, they automatically give you a screen that presumes you are tipping well above customary or norm amounts. I consider myself to be a generous tipper as I do appreciate good service. However, when it is considered “normal” to have to tip in a fast food or fast casual (mostly self serve) dining situation then it has gone too far. Are you tipping yourself?
  13. You’ve got a girlfriend and a wife? Living dangerously…..
  14. HJappy birthday you old curmudgeon!!!!
  15. Fournette is likely more of a piece in the pass and protection game. Cook has not looked good in protection. He has ball skills and open field ability. Fournette may be a good chess piece for the Bills.
  16. The Bills really have a thing for long players. Locked on Packers podcaster not pleased with the trade
