  1. I shouldn’t say “I don’t know how anyone can feel differently” because I understand exactly what you’re saying. Ultimately, it’s true. This just feels particularly brutal.
  2. This was an utterly exhausting season for the Bills even if you only factor in the constant decimating injuries. All the snow plus Damar and the Tops shooting—— it had to be emotionally draining. I don’t want to make excuses but no other team has had anywhere near as many issues.
  3. The blocking issues the Bills had today in the face of Cincy’s scheme should’ve dictated a quicker passing game. For those saying “Mahomes and Burrow”, their offensive play calling creates those options rather hanging the QB out to dry.
  4. It’s true, even WR screens are dead before the ball is thrown. I think part of it is scheme but they’re never properly blocked.
  5. I like Singletary as a complementary RB but Cook is also complementary at best. It’s probably easier to replace what Singletary brings, he’s too small to consistently be a 1st/2nd down back.
  6. The refusal (or inability) to adjust infuriates me. Hearing Frazier say they’ll continue to do what got them here was deflating during the week because we all knew exactly what that meant.
  7. In all seriousness, if they had successfully acquired McCaffrey or Kamara I wonder how different the offense would’ve been run. Would Dorsey have developed an effective screen game?
  8. This can’t be overstated and is definitely worth noting to temper some of the overreaction. The D has been missing guys and playing injured all year. It’s clearly had an effect.
  9. The 2nd half of the Green Bay game was an eye opener, solidified by the Jets game in NJ. I think the scheme is a big part of it but it’s utterly deflating to get steamrolled like that.
  10. If the Bills had McCaffrey the final score would’ve been 27-17
  11. At the very least a LG and RT plus better depth. Dawkins, Morse and Bates may not be elite but they’ll look a lot better if the other 2 spots are improved.
  12. Fans aren’t overreacting only because the season ended, the team played their worst game in over a year. The way they looked in the latter half of the season absolutely contributed to this reaction. Expectations were sky high throughout the off-season and all year. The late season dip and today's performance show how far away the Bills are when they were supposedly building toward this moment. This is a huge disappointment and the sting is worse than it’ll be for most of the other 31 teams that don’t win. I don’t know how anyone can look at this any differently.
  13. He is one of the few things that are unquestionably right about this franchise. Happily, it’s the most difficult thing to get right. He needs help.
  14. A humiliating beat down on your home turf after being picked as the Super Bowl favorite?
  15. Multiple plane crashes.
  16. I don’t think Von and Micah would’ve made much of a difference today, the defensive play calling is taking the players out of position to succeed.
  17. I’m stunned at the lack of called QB runs*. *Not actually stunned considering a total coaching fail in all phases.
  18. The last two playoff losses to KC felt like this (last year in the 1st half only)—- way too conservative on O and D as if “keeping it close” was all that mattered. It had the opposite effect if course!
  19. We need that 99 yard fumble return TD play the Bengals ran last week.
  20. Again: can’t stop the run, can’t rush the passer, can’t cover and can’t tackle. What is the gameplan?
