  1. Eball, I repect you, and your posts or replys are always pretty well thought out, and very much

exhibit signs of insigtfulness and all, but you are off your rocker on this one, no way the Colts beat

Houston this week in Houston. They won't cover either, Houston has been knocking on the Colts door for

a few years now, and this year they kick it in.

ps;best dam avatar on the board, although meatface (can't remeber his actual handle, but pretty sure people will make the connection) is a close second!

  2. I don't know the exact history of the Bills/Lions preseason games but if I recall, they usually play in the last preseason game. Given the close proximity of the two cities and the usually short turnaround time between games 3 and 4, it kind of makes sense to play the final game against someone geographically closer just to save on time.

The Steelers play the Redskins every year in preseason.

  3. We wont beat Denver or Miami sorry 2-14 at best

    You are a real nostradomASS!

Just a harmless analysis based on our roster, opponents teams, and 30+ years of watching this team. It seems totally improbable that this team can reach the 9-7 record a few of you are predicting.

Well at least some of us still BILLieve!

  4. Win at KC 20-17 OT

    Win Raiders 27-25

    Loss Pats 31-17

    Win Bengals 31-14

    Loss Eagles 24-17

    Loss Giants 17-16

    Win Redskins 38-10

    Win Jets 21-20 OT

    Loss Cowboys 20-14

    Win Dolphins 30-20

    Loss Jets 27-14

    Win Titans 40-30

    Loss Chargers 28-25 OT

    Win Dolphins 24-21

    Win Broncos 20-19

    Loss Pats 24-17

9-7 might slip into last wild card spot

  5. Freebies JOB is to play football, he shows up to work everyday, on time with a good attitude.

He sets a good example for the younger guys and does what he is asked.

How would you like if you were the best at what you do for your employer but your boss keeps trying to have guys who make 2-3 times what you make

try to do your job and after not being able to, instead of them paying you what the guys who don't do your job as good as you make, they try another less knowledgeable higher paid

employee to do your job again... And the cycle doesn't stop

Pretty sure most of us would demand better, or quit

I am pretty sure there is more to it than that.

It's along drawn-out history of disrespect

Nice try, but in football both are making obscene amounts of money compared to the real world,so, IMHO, not

a very good analogy at all. You can't compare sports compensation to the real world, as you really can't say that

anybody in professional sports is underpaid, relatively speaking.

  6. We are in lower Manhattan, our building was evacuated, felt the whole building sway....

Apparently the evacuated the Pentagon, the Capitol, the White House, and the offices of Homeland Security.

Glad to see that we are totally protected now. Geez, talk about cutting and running.Homeland Security, wtf?

  7. I didn't watch the game last night, but did follow it on NFL.com, and also based on the postings that

I have seen here today, I have heard enough to know that we are in some serious trouble this year.

Now I am not ready to jump off of the peace bridge, but I do hope we land Pryor, and steering him

to us would be the least he could do. He might be the only thing that will help this putrid line.

At least we could buy a little time with him until we can get that franchise QB, who ever that might be.

  8. According to an interview he did a few years ago, he grew up a Colts fan. He only lived in Jamestown until 1971, when he was 12-13 years old. Either way, !@#$ him.

Yeah, he stated this in the Sports Illustrated article as well about a month ago, the same story that chronicled

him as a bartender hero for standing up for a young gentleman in a bar near campus, when the gentleman was, as the

    article implied, being racially harrased.

Hero? No, just doing what hopefully all of us would do if we encountered the same situation, next will be hearing

how he rescued a cat from a tree or something, geez. The guy presents well, looks classy, comes across as someone

with high charchter and principles, what a tool.

A real hero woould have not even told that story to the interviewer, and if someone else related for him, I am sure

that he got a peek at it before it was published, he could have said just leave that out please. Very few war heros talk

about their battlefield triumphs. Talk about not letting the right hand know what the left has done. This guy needs reeled in.

  9. I hear all the rumblings about, well if his intention was this, or his intention was that, and if it was in the

best interest of the player, ya da ya da ya da, I say bull too, reasons aren't nearly as relevant as to him crossing this

line, for whatever reason, no excuses. Since when does Goddell care about players well beings? The curtain has been pulled

back on the wizard, they won't even bother to pull it shut again. I will say this, to the people that do not believe that subtle,

and lately not so subtle, manipulation occurs in the NFL, Real Estate-Florida-Swampland anybody?
