  1. Also, Edelman hit Fitz late out of bounds on one run - no call. You can bet if it was Brady it would have been 15.

I realize it is a mute point, but right after the play, we see Belicheat running up to the side judge flailing around

like an idiot, and clearly picked up on the ref's mic, that "67 is holding, 67 is holding". I believe it was the very

next play, or the one right after, and yep, you guessed it we get flagged by the same ref. that Belicheat was just

brow beating on the sidelines, for holding, and I believe he called # 67 for it. Now, it really doesn't matter to me whether

67 actually was hodling or not, the point is , he has the referee's ears, and that is just plain BS. Their coaches are in the

ref's ears from play one, it is so blatant that they don't hide it either. We have to field a team not only good enough to beat

the opponenets every week, but the officials as well, and that is a tall order.

  2. Well said. He is such a tease. Amazing athlete with no field awareness in coverage. I hope we bring in a new dc and Db coach that can bring out the best in his abilities. Superior talent. Inferior ball instincts.

Amen, brother, the NFL is literally littered with ex Bills secondary guys who are pefrorming at a high

levels, we need to keep em and coach em up!

  3. Obviously I am a Buffalo Bills Fan & I can't root for any other team so I wanted see which Teams I hated the most, here is my list Whats Yours

I HATE the Dolphins the most, I wouldn't piss on a Dolphins Fan if they where on fire

    Dolphins

    Cowboys

    Steelers

    Patriots

    Jets

    Browns

    Bengals

    Redskins

    Bears

    Giants

    Titans

    Chargers

    Colts

    Cardinals

    Seahawks

    Jaguars

    Chiefs

    Rams

    Ravens

    Raiders

    Panthers

    Broncos

    Eagles

    Vikings

    Packers

    Texans

    Buccaneers

    Lions

    49ers

    Saints

    Falcons

Pretty close to what I would have ranked, although the Browns wouldn't be that high on my list. Now, if you were

asking about fans, then the Stellars move right to the top, arrogant, arrogant, arrogant cry babies, and way overrated.

Sure they travel well, what fan wouldn't with 6 SB's, but they are spoiled by success, and are probably the most fair weathered

fans out there. Remember last time that they sucked, ther were rumors about Cowher, Stewart, even the well liked players, none

were true.I realize that there are a-hloes in every city, but from my perspective, and I live pretty close, all of them in the Burgh are.

  4. You are 100% correct. It's a lack of investment indeed. 30 mill below the cap. Didn't sign Gathers. Didn't keep Puz (could have kept him and obtained Barnett), won't keep Johnson, thus creating two holes at WR in two years, etc.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday, and it really came into crystal clear focus, when I saw one of our

hybrid LB/DE square up and look to be in excellent postion to make a takle well behind the los on a little pitch to

the QB's left early in the game sunday. He had perfect postion, and I proceeded to watch in horror, as Bush just

ran right aroud him for like a 12-15 yard gain. I see what everbody else has been screaming about for some time now.

    Hideous, just plain hideous.

  5. If you were told on opening day that the Bills would have 5 wins with 3 games to play how many of you would have been ok with that? I realize this franchise is disfunctional, and that Mr. Wilson has a lot to do with this over the years. I keep hearing all this talk about how could the team start out so well and fall apart within a few weeks? In my opinion you can not disregard how devasting the injuries have been this year, yes every team has them and SOME can overcome them, but if you take Mike Wallace, Mike Pouncey, Aarron Smith put them all on IR, and have Troy miss 3 games with injuries, do you seriously think that the Steelers would be 10-3, granted the drop off would not cripple that team as it has the Bills, but they would be on the fringe of getting a wild card.

Look at the Dolphins this past week, they lose there backup QB and Jake Long, and they could not function! The Dolphins had been one of the healthiest teams this year and they had been beating down teams (Bills, Raiders Skins) who have been decimated with injuries, they play a team getting healthier and get a beat down. The Bills early season play was not a fluke, first of all all of their starter were available and they hit the ground running, once the injuries started they did not have enough talent to step up. The difference between playoff good and mediocrity in the NFL is very small.

Coincidentally Fitz's drop off began right around the time Fred Jackson's injury happened; we all know Fitz is not a Ben or Brady who makes others better, but if you put talent around him he can get the job done..look what he did with free agents and late round picks. Now to get to NE,GB,NO,Pitt level that is another story, but to be a playoff team and in the mix with the 9, 10 win teams they just need depth. Maybe I am just too optimistic but I would have taken the 5 win scenario at the beginning of the year.

I was goint to start my own post on the injury thing, but this topic is close enough. I couldn't agree with you more,

as a matter of fact when you look back over the last 5 years or so, man, this tem has really had some bad luck. Oh suure,

we have had some big draft whiffs, but I thinking that it was less about drafting bad, and more about just being plain unlucky.

Without the benefit of research, just from my memory bank:

Troy Vincent broken leg, right at the start of that season

Ko Simpson had some sort of broken bone that kept him out for a while early in his career with us.

Poszlusny two broken forearms, misses one whole season and parts of another

    Marcus Easly heart

McGee and his many injuries over the last 5 years or so

    Troup's bad back

    Kyle Williams Foot

Carringtom has missed significant time over the last few years

Marshawn Lynch suspension and a couple of injuries

Dwan Edwards missed a significant part of last year

    Lindell

    Parrish (forget about him)

Spencer Johnson has missed some time for various ailments

Kelsay earlier this year, maybe some last year

    the Schoebel injury

Evans and the other wideouts on occasion

Eric Wood mises the better part of two seasons, Hairston & Bell

Moorman I believe may have missed a few also, possibly after that disatorous fake punt attempt last year.

Yobouty and Mckelvin have missed significant time over the last three years

I think Lawyer Malloy had a broken arm as well a few years back.

    Merriman

These were pretty much all young ready to contribute players that have set their careers, and The Buffalo Bills back a few years.

Hopefully we will encounter a stretch of good luck over the next few years and all of the experience that the back-ups got

    will become very valuable.

  6. You must be kidding. Did you watch the Bills-Redskins SB? Notice it is never mentioned here.

Not even close to the worst, and was probably our best chance to win one, other than wide, well you know.

The onesided officiating alone prevents me from claiming this as the worst. Now the 52-17 or whatever

might very wll be the worst.

  7. I've been surprised that there haven't been more onside kicks with the new rules.

Much more risky now, you take your chances on getting a TB or a return to no more than the 20,

as opposed to having the opponent start at midfiled if you do not recover. The chances of

an opponent getting a return to their own 40 or beyond are exteremly reduced now, so why

take the chance on an on-side kick? If anything, I would say that it has caused a reduction

    in the number of them.

  8. That change would screw up on-side kicks wouldn't it?

He would only have to kick it only 5 yards for it to be recoverable by the kicking team.

When was the last time that you saw a kicker recover his own onside kick anyway.

Point well taken, I didn't think about that, just have it so he isn't allowed to make

    the recovery.

  9. I heard he is going to kick our ass on sunday :(

Um, just rumors please, no facts! Seriously though, I heard from my cousins sisters boyfreinds uncle

who has sources deep within one bills drive, that Losman loves to play with Dolphins, the only mammal

with no external genetalia. Amazing how much pleasure can be derived from a dorsal fin. If I were him

I would make the dam thing put on protection first. I think that he is going to get screwed by the fins,

but probably better than by a Bison.

Did you ever see the size of a fully aroused Buffalo unit? Ew that's gonna hurt, on the other hand the dorsal

fin doesn't get any bigger than what it already is!

Don't shoot the messenger, just repeating what I have heard.

  10. I think they knew exactly what kind of impact it would have, and I'd be surprised if they had any intentions of tweaking the rule if it were to create more opportunities for returns.

I hate it, you hate it, we all hate it. But the NFL really doesn't care.

I think they knew that it would reduce the amount of returns, but I don't think that they

counted on them being almost totally eliminated. I would bet that there is at least some discussion

regarding it when the rules committe gets together again.

  11. My thinking on the new kick-off rule, is that maybe the NFL didn't really think this

through correctly. I don't think that they meant to take that much excitement out of the game.

I think in their haste to eliminate head injuries and the like, they went overboard.

With that in mind, I think that they could bring back some of the excitement by just tweeking

it some. I would propose letting the kicker kick off from the same yard line as this year,

but I would have the kick coverage team lined up 5 yards back. It should increase the amount

of kicks being returned, and bring some of the excitement back, it would still result in a

lot of touchbacks, keep the no-wedge rule, etc for player safety. I just don't think that

they planned on seeing hardly any kicks returned. Thoughts?

  12. This is a message board. That's what people do on them.

EDIT: You know what's weird? Out of the 42 threads you've posted in, half of them were started by Jerry Jabber.

EDIT #2: And in most of those threads, you're right there to blow sunshine right up Jerry Jabber's rear. Do you have a man crush on Jerry Jabber or something? Or are you and Jerry Jabber the same person and you're posting behind yourself so you look better on a message board? lol I really hope it's the former, cause the latter would be even more pathetic than being a bandwagon jumper!

I used to pay a lot of attention to Jerry Jabber's posts too, until they took his hot avatar away, now he is just another

poster, but seriously thhough, a pretty insightful one at that.

  13. On the TD by SD to Gates, who ran a simple out pattern, right before the snap, I am thinking to myself,

watch the TE, watch the TE. Then to see not even anyone around him, I just couldn't believe it, can't we

use a LB to at least bump on the line to slow him down a bit? I mean, you know it is coming and still leave

him wide open, WTF? That is coaching!!Or should I say, lack thereof!!

  14. Do you guys realize that Reggie Corner has been the most consistent corner for this inconsistent organization, the Buffalo Bills since he was drafted in 2008 (the same year McKlevin was drafted as a 1st rounder). For one he has never missed a game because of injury and we all know every other corner-back has missed significant time because of injury so right there he is one of the most reliable and earned every bit of his pay check. His second year (09-10)when he and Drayton Florence started most games because both McGee and McKlevin were you guessed it INJURIED. The bills had the SECOND highest rated pass defense (2nd highest INT's and top 5 in PD)that season and Corner had one of the best seasons a Bills corner has had since 2008. He was ranked 1 in the AFC East in a stat ESPN did called hits and misses which basically said he was the best TACKLING corner in the AFC EAST (for 52 solo tackles he only missed 4) (search "Hits and misses: Which CBs cant tackle?" in espn's search bar) His teammates that year were ranked too MCGEE 69TH AND FLORANCE 63RD.... LOL That year also in a stat called burn percentage that ESPN did where "Stats Inc. records what it calls "burns," the number of times a defender allows a reception to the man he's covering. Stats Inc. then divides that by the number of times the defender is targeted to compute a "burn percentage."........

"The Buffalo Bills had two among the top 11, another reason why they finished second in pass defense. Drayton Florence was fourth at 43.2 percent, and Reggie Corner was 11th at 47.3 percent." -ESPN BLOG BY TIM GRAHAM

So coming off that amazing year as a Buffalo Bills secondary in walks the infamous 3-4 defense.. smh Where like every one on the Buffalo Bills defense was going to take some getting used to.. That year Corner had an awesome preseason but the regular season was played sparingly by the new coaching staff which obviously took some confidence away from him. The Bills went on to have one of the worst defenses in the league rushing and passing defense. lol And through performance incentives Reggie Corner's contract went up to 1.2 million for his 4th year with the Bills (11-12) season. PERFORMANCE INCENTIVES meaning money he earned through his performance!!! He was supposed to only make like $425,000 this year. And what does our beloved franchise do to him CUT him before this season starts only to pick him back up for a cheaper price 10 days later! Now you tell me what NFL Star in the NFL wants to play here including FRED JACKSON. This man earned his money the old fashion way WITH PERFORMANCE and this often disloyal/cheap franchise does that to him.. SMH And keep JUSTIN RODGERS are you kidding me!! So the second game of the season the 1st New England Drive Wes Welker has 67 yards and a touchdown on AARON WILLIAMS and goes on to have a 130 or so yard half on him before he gets injured and Reggie Corner comes in and plays a solid game cold with probably little to no confidence and the Bills go on to win the game. Now we move to the Eagles game when they are on there way to a touchdown and Corner gets an interception on an outstanding athletic play on a tipped ball and had two big time pass deflections the first half one right before half when they where in the red-zone. Now everybody clearly got on his case during that last drive when he was doing everything he could to contain and not allow a big play. The defense was clearly getting absolutely no pressure on Michael Vick and he was standing back there throwing 10-15 yard cross the middle pass in a culture in the NFL where clearly the DB's are at a disadvantage. Not to mention Corner was clearly tired (the most minutes he played all year) but scared to tell the coaches because of the lack of confidence he probably feels with there loyalty toward him. And since that game two things have happened he is again being shunned by our organization but not allowing him to even dress most of the games.. smh and the BILL are 1-6.

So out of all of this I really want you to think about it. Reggie Corner rarely is the one giving up the big plays *cough *cough ( McKlevin). He is never injured He is believe it or not the best tackling corner we have, and he plays with all of his heart every time he is out there. People criticize his size but he is the exact same size as Terrence McGee and 1 inch shorter. The only thing that Reggie Corner lacks is the support and confidence from his coaches!! And hopefully he gets a better opportunity to show his talents elsewhere next year under a different program.

I like him too, but you sound like you might be his agent.

  15. Picks from a deflected pass should count as half an interception. Not entirely the fault of the QB, especially when they put it on the numbers and it squeaks through for a pick.

OK, but when a reciver fights off a corner for a poorly thrown ball that should have been picked, and somehow

manages to come down with it, then it shouldn't be a completion, but a fumble recovery. Kind of like the Smith

    reception last week.

  16. great quote!

Thanks, I know it's a little brash, but I had to put something out there to mask my

uncertainty with this team, cause I really really want to BILLieve, but I am so

confused, I will grasp for anything right now. My avatar is a perfect reflection of how I feel, and

has been for some time now. When I really start feeling confident, I am going to switch it to

a big pair of non cracked ones, but until then I have no choice. I do feel, however, that although

at times flatlining, in general, the arrow is pointing up.Kapish?
