  1. I'm surprised you all are defending the reporter.

I wish Derek would have pulled a Chris err Jim Everett and scoop slammed the D-Bag reporter.

    He did answer the question.

He said he cares, he said he doesn't find it funny.

He said he is passionate about preparing.

The D-Bag Reporter should have dropped it at that point.

    Question asked, question answered.

When he hounded him again, DA did the right thing in walking away as opposed to kicking the guys ass, which would have been well deserved.

Agree 100 %, these reporters need to get a life, not try and make a name for himself, and that is exactly what he was

trying to do....15 minutes of fame.

  2. This was the re-injury at his first practice. Come-on man. Did you see it on the local news? If you did you'd be embarassed to cover for this guy! It looked fake, felt fake and if you listen closely to Chan you can tell what he thinks about the whole deal!

Gotta agree, he didn't want to take a chance in really injuring himself, so he mailed it in 15 minutes into

his first practice. It might have been a little more believable had he done it a week or so into practice,

this just smells bad. We got suckered. There ought to be a law against this kind of scam.

  3. Real Fans, regardless of team affiliation, don't act like this, but unfortunatley it is not a problem reserved for Cleveland. I too had a somewhat similiar incident happen to me when I took my nephews to a Bills Steeler Playoff game

back in the 90's in Pittsburgh.I had my 10 year old son, a 12 year old nephew, and another nephew who was about 21-22.

All of us but my 12 year old nephew were Bills fans, and the environment was freindly up until the point where the Bills started to pull away in an eventual 24-3 victory. We got harrased, and alomost assaulted by a group of young annebrieated

Steeler fans after my older nephhew was pumping his arms in the air and yelling Go Bills at the bottom of their section.

When they started to come down, I pulled my nephew away and explained to the group that we didn't want any trouble, and that

I had two young kids with us. They didn't care, as the continued to harras us, when one started to charge at my older nephew, I grabbed him by the throat, and repeated that we didn't want any trouble, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw three of them starting to rush at me from the side, we were out on the ramps at this point, and nobody else was around,

it just so happened that two security officers came by and I quickly told them that these idiots would not let us leave the stadium, the promptly horse collered them and escorted them out of the stadium. God only knows what might have happened had

they not come by when they did, and the kids would have witnessed it all, or heaven forbid, somehow maybe pulled into the fray. Some people are just idiots, and every stadium has them.

  4. OK, maybe the Bison doessn't fare well against the Bear, but I have been told, that you can

start a Buffalo against a horse, and you will go through three horses before the Buffalo starts

to fade, distance wise. The moral, understanding that a lot of you want immediate improvement,

which I see, is that we are in good shape, long run wise.

  5. Really how much farther does he need to throw. He can throw half the field and probably longer if he wanted to.

If he can do it from his knees, I will then be impressed, but I really don't think that it means all that

much, Jamarcus Russell could do it from his knees.

  6. This whole thing is even more disturbing when you consider that she's only a "reporter" due to the notoriety she received after being caught on camera as a fan at a Florida State-Miami football game shaking her breasts, and the commentators talked about her on air. Disgusting.

Very disgusting, any links to that video?

I'm thinking of a new ad campaign for Wrangler Jeans. Brett Favre, NFL's most interesting man. "I don't always wear pants, but when I do, I prefer Wrangler Jeans."

At museums, he is allowed to touch the work.

  7. The head referee was also from Pittsburgh.

He was doing pee-wee games on a 60 yard field when he got the call to the Pros, I witnessed this, his father was a long

time NFL Offical, and his brother as well, nepotism is alive and well. He had no legitimate experience at any level even

    close to the NFL.

I can only guess you have watched football for a very short period of time. Do you think all the games in the 70s, 80s, 90s where called perfectly and there was never a controversy? Back then we got one or two replays from the network during the game and that was it. No one at home watching a replay on DVD over and over, analyzing every play to nearest inch, no 24 hour ESPN fanning the flames, no Internet analysts looking for something to write about.

Yes there were LOTS of blown calls. They just weren't analyzed to death.

The games are fixed? Have ever thought how many people would have to be involved in that?? Do you really think the NFL would risk destroying its reputation so Pittsburgh would win a regular season game over Miami?

Hello little sheep, what color is your wool, wake up dude, you don't need a lot of people to subtly manipulate games,

there is scheduling, marketing, rules (obscure and inconsistently enforced), and the the refs. It only took one NBA

official to throw games. I got pristine swampland for you in Florida.

  8. He did miss a chip shot in the season finale a few years back, that would have probably won the game for

us. We were playing the Steelers scrubs, and we just missed making the playoffs because of the miss. I can't

really complain about Lindell too much though, especiall over the last couple of years.

  9. OK, I am typing real slow now, these obscure rules are designed for one thing, and one thing only, and it

has absolutley nothing to do with safety, the word is MANIPULATION. No one can follow the game anymore, how could you,

the ref.'s are not even sure what to call anymore, do we even need ref.'s?

  10. Thank you. That was essentially the point of my post - you just said it more succinctly.

Either the officials are becoming exponentially more incompetent or games are fixed. I'm not even sure how the side judge ruled TD, initially. It was fairly obvious that the ball was coming out. Then to say you're not sure who had the ball, when the Dolphin player clearly gets up with the ball. In the Bills game they don't call a whistle on the Nelson play and allow a defenseless player to be held up, off the ground, until he's stripped. in the Fin game, they end the play in the middle of a fumble. So which is it... play until you hear a whistle or not? The inconsistencies and subjective nature of so many of today's penalties should alarm any fan of the game.

Some of you will say that I am full of shti, but that is exactly the same way that Leodis lost the ball in the first

game of the season last year, just complete BS.

  11. My buddy, who's a Fin fan, was texting me throughout the game. He was flipping over to the Bills game. I flipped over to the Fin game just in time to see that the last of that series. Talk about a complete screw job! I told him at the time, the Refs would find a way to give it back to the Steelers because they're supposed to win. Sure enough we get the... we don't really know who got it so what the hey, let's give it to who's supposed to win anyway.

Seriously, it's so hard not to believe the NFL is fixed sometimes when you see calls like that. It was blatantly obvious what the right call was, and there goes the Ref completely blowing it. Either he was on the take or he's completely incompetent. Either way he shouldn't be involved with another game.

Two of the officials are from Pittsburgh, I think that they mentioned on the telecast that one was. I personnaly know

the head of the officiating crew for that game, he is from my city, which is a Pittsburgh suburb, he was the one giving the

explanation, and I know what he said, but here is what I heard, listen folks, I know it looked like a fumble, and it sure

was one, but because I don't even know what I am doing here, and can't see past my hand, and the fact that I am from Pittsburgh, we thought that the right thing to do, would be to give them the ball back, so screw all of you.

This is not his, or his crews first fax paux either. Why the hell would they have a crew with members predominantly from one of the Cities playing, is beyond me, just another example of the NFL thumbing their noses at evryone. After all, what is

the recourse, if they were found to be fixing. Spygate anyone?

  12. I tip my hat to the Buffalo Bills. I think I can speak for most of the people on this board when I say, in our eyes you guys won the game. There was some unbelievable calls that I still can't believe. I can honestly say, yesturday was the first day after a game when I was proud to where my jersey out in public. You guys played Outstanding and if you guys keep playing like that the wins will come. I have a new found respect for Fitz and our O line did an awesome job. Our D line even did good and put some pressure on Flaco at key times in the game when we usually don't get any pressure. Good Job Buffalo.

Good post, right on, I vote that you get bumped to rookie status immediatley.

  13. This is where we learn for sure that you're making things up/exaggerating things. Everyone who has been to a Bills game knows that the Nacho Cheese receptacle is WAY too small to cover someone.

Maybe we could have a wet nacho cheese contest. I belive that nacho cheese, spred evenly, will allow

transparency. It would also probably perk them up a bit.

  14. Whenever I go past the stadium a few hours after the games it looks like a hell hole of trash. Its embarrassing really. I always think of the commercial in the 70's when the Indian has a tear coming down his face from all the trash on the side of the road.

I'm not against leaving your cans and bottles but it really is sad.

Please, he is a freakin millionaire casino owner now, he now sports a chesire grin.

  15. Answer me one question Buddy... You're "core guy" Kelsay, is playin a position that he obviously can't play and he has done nothing to help this team win so how do you justify saying that you want your players to be like him? Give me a bad boy that produces on the field any given sunday... Besides, how do you expect new talent to come to this team and follow his lead when they've never even heard of him before? Notice how there were no big headlines other then within the Bills network when he signed his extension... Give us some playmakers with marginal character and I promise the Bills fans will forgive you...

PS. Can we get someone in the press conferences and QnA's that will ask the tough questions that all of us want the answers to?

    Agreed, Richie Incognito anybody?
