  1. naw it was at Yasin, sorry for the confusion.
  2. Yep, there goes another $165 NHL Center Ice down the drain...
  3. good !@#$ing, show. i think the, last few episodes, have really taken off. And you can't beat all, the titties thrown, around. But whats up with, the principle's girlfriend, he got, with? She's, kinda, hot, has big breasts but big, arms but, her waist was tiny? Kinda, threw, me, off? Can't, tell, if, she's, hot, or, not?
  4. Yeah, but they also liked ROBERT ROYAL down here too, remember? My guess is the Bills aren't going after Scheffler, and at least in the short term this looks like it weakens two AFC teams...in the short term.
  5. I think it might have to do with the kind of car he drives. I hear that since Fred Jackson drives a Hyundai, he doesnt get any say...or a new contract.
  6. I think the correct phrase would be "gained a tight end spot with the removal of Royal" rather than any "loss."
  7. This is funny too: Ravage!!! Trouble Join Date: Feb 2004 Posts: 25,196 I'm betting the OP.. is the same guy that said he had "inside info" that Shanahan was going to the Chiefs.... then said (when it didn't happen) that he was just "pulling our chains".... to hide his incompetence. There is no inside info about such a trade. This is ridiculous. __________________
  8. From sources deep within....Cutler to Buffalo Views: 2,711 Posted By Soprano3695 Agent in Buffalo Cutlers agent was spotted at the Buffalo-Niagara Airport 30 min ago. http://forums.denverbroncos.com/search.php?searchid=3451975 HAHAHAH!
  9. maybe you can pick him up at the airport with your nice whip...
  10. It seems like there is more to the story here than the black and white McD is stupid, Culter is a baby, he hasn't won anything blah blah blah..... all parties seem to be acting stupid here, they didn't handle the situation correctly, they didn't fix it in the two or three "intervention" meetings afterwards. I can't see McDaniels surviving the season if he can't get Cutler in camp or a decent QB that can make them at least competitive this year... And I'm sure Bus Cook is loving this whole situation...he sees his client getting moved, demanding a long term contract before he plays a down...and him collecting his cut.... beautiful game, isn't it?
  11. And on a side note, I never thought of this...what is that supposed to say about what the team thinks of Whitner now if Ralph is "supposedly" promoting Modrak because he thought we should have gotten Cutler over Whitner? We made the wrong choice Donte? Probably digging way too deep on speculation here..
  12. I think it was reported as Mod-RAT....er sorry Modrak that said he wanted Cutler. I'm sure Wilson agreed. The media specifically said Modrak was elevated to the "inner circle" because his belief on the Cutler pick (as silly as both "inner circle" and promoting a guy b/c of a pick you didnt make sounds). I'm sure there is more to the promotion. And regards to "sticking it to Bill," from what I've read Belichick and McDaniels are on good terms, surprisingly. This wasn't supposed to be a Mangini situation, Bill let McDaniels go on good terms. And Mort was the one who speculated that the Pats* leaked the Cassell/Cutler/TB story, but almost instantly apoligized for speculating when he didnt have hard evidence. He even wrote that McDaniels/Belichick good relations wouldn't allow Bellichick to be THAT much of a jerk. But who knows?
  13. Few points: 1.) Denver management botched this thing. Very very VERY stupid. Yeah, if you tried to trade the guy, bring him in and tell that's what happened. They didnt do that...they denied it to the media, and then to his face. NOW they're saying they looked at some offers, but its dead. Yeah, but its too late now...And now they're talking to the media saying Cutler is "misinterpreting" the facts? Now you're going to call him out in the media and make excuses about "not calling him back blah blah?" Where are the PR people in this? No good is going to come out of talking trash to your QB in the media, even if he is doing so himself...its not smart and they're stooping to his level. 2.) Cutler is acting a little childish in this case. He sees himself, while young, as the leader of this team. McDaniels came in and needed to respect that, which is what Cutlers crying about. I think some of it might be that Cutler is scared this new SOB could come in and ruin his development, thus he wants a trade. He had one of the best offensive geniuses coach him, he was somewhat promised the offense would stay intact, and now everythings thrown out the window. Still think he's acting out of line though... 3.) Cutler is a good QB, and "he hasn't won anything" is a silly argument. He had arguably the worst defense in the league the last 2 years. Remember, he lost what, 7 running backs last year? And yeah he's got good receivers now, but in 07 he didn't have the perfect number 2, Eddie Royal. Their wide receiver core outside of Marshall was pretty thin...Stokley was number 2 in 07. And Tony Scheffler? Yeah, he's a good player, but he owes his development to Jay Cutler being his QB. Give this kid a running back who can stay healthy (I think Ryan Torain can be that guy, if McDaniels doesnt screw that up too) and a defense that can be at least average, he might have a chance to win. But you can't blame the losses on this guy...those were squarely on the defense. And while this whole trade me/he said/she said bonanza is fun to see another team destroy itself, and it might be fun to wish he could land in Buffalo.....I fear the Dolphins and the Jets (or some other up and coming AFC team) is licking its chops....I hate the AFC East!
  14. Funny, I'm smelling Tuna with these posts....do we have a troll on our hands?
  15. Listen....if they give Peters a 10 mil a year salary, in 2 or 3 years he'll be the 5th or 6th highest paid guy at the position. It goes up every year. Walter Jones is making 7.5 mil a year, a bargain for what the guy has done. And when he signed that contract, everyone thought it was absurd. I don't think he's going to B word about his salary again. Guys only do that once or twice. Give him a long term contract and be done with this. If we don't, other teams will. Its NFL Market Economics, and if we want to get away from being a backwater NFL town, we need to pay our players that perform. And I like how everyone is enthused about Bell, but come on? Has anybody seen the guy play a meaningful snap in a meaningful game? Yeah, its nice he gets kudos from Kyle Williams, but are we really basing our future on when one teammate drops a line about another? I've heard a few tidbits in the news here and there about how the bills are really impressed with the guy, but that doesnt mean they think hes going to be a bonifide star. Please stop this talk about Bell until we actually see the guy in a game...
  16. ESPN/AP does the same thing, although they don't use any quotes from scouts or sources saying anything bad about him. They say that at 325 he's the lightest he's ever been. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft09/news/story?id=3971535 I'm almost certain that Florio's probably right, he's almost never wrong. But he doesnt have any real meat to his argument as to why Smith was a disaster, save for a few unidentified quotes. Is there anybody else out there that is saying the workout was a disaster?
  17. What???? TO doesnt like blue cheese? Who doesn't like blue cheese. What a jerk! Is ESPN following this? Get rid of this cancer, now!
  18. Yeah I knew he was our rep when he was on the team, but I don't think he'd be a guy that joined up just for a trip to Hawaii. He seems like a pretty serious, committed guy. Although the reports on him lately don't shed light to him being a good guy....
  19. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writ...flpa/index.html I searched and couldn't find any other posts with Ross' new article. If there is, I'm sorry and I'll delete it. Everyone seems to like this guy on the board, and he almost always talks about an unnamed bills player every week. In this article, he talks about how team player reps are picked out of a popularity contest, and that most guys only go b/c of an all expense paid trip to Hawaii. He says the Bills rep that beat him out "a guy who didn't even contribute to his 401k -- which features an almost unprecedented 200 percent match from the NFL -- went to Hawaii to represent the Bills. So basically, a guy who turned down thousands of free dollars for no reason was sent off to fight for our benefits moving forward." He admittedly says it sounds like he's being a sore loser, but he's mad that the NFLPA doesnt send guys who really care about the so called "little guy" in the NFL. Anybody have any idea who the player rep was when he was on the team? Robert Royal was the current rep. Were looking for the guy from 2003-2004. I've searched but can't find out who Bills player reps are...anybody good at hunting this down? Interesting to see if this "rich idiot" is still on the team..
  20. listen alpha dog, i dont know why youre getting all "ALPHA DOG" on me here. Obviously 2006 was before Revis was around, but you claimed that the Jets have owned Evans. I refuted that by saying Evans has had some of his best games against the Jets. And he played pretty damn good against Revis in 2007. I don't see how you could disagree with that assessment. Revis played better in 2008, Evans played better in 2007. Revis is a great CB, but Evans was double and triple covered in our two games against them in 2008. Everyone on offense sucked against the Jets in 2008, I don't think you can put it all on Lee. And if you remember (or checked YOUR facts), the first Jets game in 2007 when lee had 6 for 72 was Trent's FIRST start. The both played pretty efficient, and I don't think you could have asked for much more from either Trent or Lee in that game. And the second game, how can you not remember that catch on Revis from JP? Revis played great defense, but there was nothing else he could do on Lee's play. I understand that 2006 and 2007 stats really don't matter too much, I was just using them to say that Lee has had good games against the Jets. Some of his best. Revis got better and shut down Lee in 2008. I don't think it will be the same next year. And by the way, I think this whole internet macho man BS that you pull on everyone that disagrees with you is retarded. You can get your point across without exploding venom through the keyboard.
  21. I called him a porker and a SF fairy
  22. Um, what matchup are you talking about? How about how he ripped off that ridiculous catch on Revis in 07 from JP? Lee has had some of his best games against Revis... 07: WEEK OPP RESULT REC YDS AVG LNG TD 4 NYJ W 17-14 6 72 12.0 22 0 8 @NYJ W 13-3 5 138 27.6 85 1 And in 06 sans Revis: 3 NYJ L 28-20 8 107 13.4 27 0 14 @NYJ W 31-13 2 91 45.5 77 1 Yeah Revis had Evans number last year, but he had a safety over the top the whole game...its going to be different this year
