You've finally convinced me. Bush should take as much vacation as he wants. He's clearly just as engaged in domestic and foreign affairs while clearing brush in Crawford as he is when he's in the capital of the world's lone superpower. Considering how great of a job he's been doing I think he's actually taking too little vacation, he's certainly deserves more.
Withdrawing? Then why are the Russians building trenches and sentry posts deep inside Georgia?
Do you really think that it's a coincidence that America's worst president (Even worse than Carter!) since Herbert Hoover is also the all time leader in presidential vacation days?
99% of the people in this forum won't respond to any thread if they can't figure out a way to crowbar Obama messiah jokes, the word socialist, the phrase "but I thought Obama was different", or "Bush Bad". At least none of them pretended to read it like they do with most of the links.
MCGAHEE'S KILLING US!
"ok. to be successful at all this season were gonna need a good running game. and im starting to doubt if we can get that out of Willis McLazee. first i hear that he missed most of the voluntary workouts and practices and he reports to camp out of shape and then he gets hurt and now i hear that he doesnt know any of the plays. what is up with this guy? doesn he wanna win? i thought he said he liked playing in baltimore. Ray should be all over him about this. i hope rice turns out to be as good as we hope because he might have to start sooner than we think. "
"4 pounds? It's more like 8 lbs! He weighed in at 236 he should be 228 like he was when he cared enough to work in the off-season. He was 230 or more last year and couldn't run more than 2 plays without needing oxygen and an IV."
Did you even read the article? If you actually did read this article and from it drew the conclusion that Bush is burning the candle at both ends while at his Crawford ranch then your reading comprehension is in need of a tune up.
Exactly, those Hollywood socialist pinkos should be ashamed of the way the've blacklisted Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Clint Eastwood, Jerry Bruckheimer, Sylvester Stallone, and Kelsey Grammer.
Baltimores top player? Have you heard of Ed Reed, Terrell Suggs, Ray Lewis, Haloti Ngata, or Chris McCallister? He's probably their best offensive player (unless Ogden didn't retire, I can't remember if he did or not).
When he ran for President in 88 he lifted part of some English dude's speech without attributing it and Dukakis slammed him for it. I also think he said something recently about Indians owning 7-11's that caused him some grief.
But you said Russia invaded Georgia and Bush went to the Olympics? Just admit that was a lame knee-jerk reaction of yours.
Sounds like the crisis is still going on then, right?
Didn't Sarkozy negotiate the cease-fire? The only negotiating Bush did with Putin was when he was yucking it up with him at the Olympics. Why doesn't Bush "look into Putin's soul" again and solve this mess? You also fail to mention the effect Bush's foreign policy had on emboldening the Georgians into starting this conflict.
You mean like defending Bush for attending the Olympics when he really went to Crawford?
Are you aware that the deal was finalized before Bush's vacation?
Absurd notion? Look at Bush's track record of screwing things up while he's on vacation.
So what would you classify Bush being so engrossed in his vacation that it required Dan Bartlett to make Bush a DVD of Katrina news footage 2 days after the hurricane made landfall? When Bush goes on vacation Bush goes on vacation. In fact, wasn't Bush playing guitar while people were committing suicide in the Superdome? Looks to me like Bush was "vacationing like the rest of us peons" on 8-30-2005.
Can you please admit you were wrong? You know that the Russia/Georgia crisis was still going on when Bush left for Crawford and has continued to today, right? Considering this and the fact that the new US/Poland missile defense deal has Russia threatening to go nuclear on Poland makes Bush look like a slacker for deciding to go clear brush with Barney on the ranch.
He wasn't referring to Bush attending the opening ceremony of the Olympics you moron, he was referring to the fact that Bush was vacationing in Crawford!. There's nothing to worry about though, Bush is terrific at handling crises while on vacation. Just look at how well he handled the August 6th 2001 PDB...actually forget that example...what about his response to Hurricane Katr......ummmmm...hmmmmm...maybe we should be worried!
I remember I met him once and he was probably 26-27 and he already had tons of gray in his beard! Maybe he lied to UGA about his age and enrolled as a 30 year old freshman!
Teams trade good players all the time, just look at Randy Moss, Clinton Portis, Champ Bailey, Santana Moss, Laverneous Coles, Jason Taylor, Deangelo Hall, and Herschel Walker! Sometimes a player just needs to move on.
