It is neither....
Injuries happen, especially when you play hard. Look at Donte Witner.
Last thing we need are abunch of guys running around playing halfheartedly protecting themselves for Free Agency
I don't know that he is even a good #2. When a guy says he has a hard time getting up for games, despite being paid as a professional athelese, I have my doubts. Don't get me wrong, I think he is talented, but he just doen't process game info like he should....
Just like any other team, they gotta build from the foundation up. Take a look at Miami for example, get bigger and faster on the lines. The skill players will work out.
You make the argument for why other teams will not give up anything real valuable for him: he eats a roster spot mostly as a return specialist. If he can't beat out Josh Reed for the second receiver spot, what team will he be able to break in as a second reciever. We won't get anything higher than a 4th for him. He's a luxury player that only certain teams can have. That's one reason why it's unfortunate that he got drafted by the Bills so high....just think, vincent jackson was on the board and some predicted the Bills to take him instead....not to metion the other impact players available.
Roscoe, unfortunately is a luxury player. He is the kinda guy you get when you already have 2 solid recievers or just need extra speed. We will never be able to plug him in as a reliable first or second receiver for an entire year. We will not get a 2nd or 3rd rounder for him. The production is not there, and you can get an impact receivers outright from the draft in those rounds. I think he's a good player, but also think it would be like trying to trade in a car that you're upside down on...our best value will come from keeping him.
The win provides hope....isn't that what being a Bills fan is all about?
Playoffs? That's still a long ways off. They still have a quarter of season to go....which is a good thing.
They just need to come out and try to get a win next week...build up some momentum.
I'll enjoy this win and hope that they'll keep it going.
