  1. It pisses me off to no end to think about how Ted Ginn torched us last game. It was another example of poor adjustments by the Bills staff. McGee was clearly having problems with Ginn and the staff didn't do enough to fix it....replace McGee, double him, play him differently....I don't care. There is no reason the guy should have the game of his life against the Bills.
  2. The question is not really whether the Bills would be better off with a new coach. The question is THIS team going to be better off with a new coach, new coordinators, a new philosphy, a new system, and 2-4 years of adjustment. I am by no means saying DJ is the end all be all....but I am saying continuity can ADD VALUE AS WELL. Look at some of the most successful teams in the NFL: Titans, Patriots, Giants, Colts, Eagles, etc....they've got the benefit of more than 2 yrs continuity at the coaching and QB positions. Look at the most unsuccessful teams: Lions, 49ers, Raiders. They seem to be just like us: a revolving door of coaches every 2-3 yrs. Like I said, I don't think DJ is a great coach, but lets give it a little bit of time.
  3. I still think he needs some time to really evaluate....about your points 1. He was a winner in high school...which wasn't very long ago. 2. Anybody will be injury prone getting hit as much as he does. Some of the hits are his fault, but not all of them. 3. He's still on a very mediocre team. Not every rookie can come into a situation like Ben Rosthslesberger....how many QBs have come into the NFL and won immediately despite being on a mediocre team? I'm not making excuses, but lets be realistic and give him a little more time....then judge him.
  4. As much as I hate to say it, I agree. The last thing we need is to burn 3 more years trying to find another head coach. Also, do you really think the Bills will go after someone witha proven track record and spend a lot to make it happen? Nope, they'll try to find a coach on the cheap and test it out for 3 yrs.
  5. I'd rather see them run the wildcat all game with Fred Jackson
  6. I do not agree that the Bills are soft. If there is one thing good about this team, it is the fact that they all play hard, and hit hard. They are short on quality coaching, and short on talent ....not hustle and toughness
  7. LOL. I'd be pretty pumped after an emotional speach like that.
  8. OK. Has he needed a QB for all of his losing seasons as a head coach?
  9. "PLAYOFFs? Don't talk to me about playoffs Are you kidding me? I just hope we win a game" If nothing else, we'd get some intersting quotes
  10. This is how you find the next Bills coach: 1. You scan the NFL landscape for available coordinators or failed head coaches. 2. You find the ones that would demand the least amount of money in an effort to land a HC job. 3. Take your pick of the bottom three. You have at least a 33% chance of being correct
  11. Amen to that brutha. I'd be happy with a well played game, but a loss for an outcome. The Bills haven't been consistently exciting to watch for a while. If I wanted to watch poorly coached, and executed ball, but witha lot of hustle, I'd go to the local high school game.
  12. I like Will Ferrel as the GM....he can also double as the entertainment coordinator
  13. As Bill Parcells says: "You are what your record says you are." I'm protesting next year by not renewing my NFL Sunday Ticket....If they do well, I'll see them on nationally televised games.
  14. I think the fact that Schonert is a rookie OC goes largely unmentioned. Also, how come we don't seem to get the most out of our players like other coaching staffs? Trent Edwards IS a real good quarterback. Josh Reed, Lee Evans, Marchawn Lynch are all full of talent. You stick these guys into the NE or Jet's systems and they'd probably do well. I don't get it. Maybe Ralpie Wilson needs to actually shell out some dough and get a coaching staff with a decent resume.
  15. sure, why not? Also, if I win the powerball lottery, I'll give you a million dollars
  16. Not that we don't get favors, but rather, the Bills outthink themselves here as well...We'll draft a defensive back, then trade up for a defensive player nobody's heard of.
  17. Nah, the Bills are just good enough to sell hope, and be a tease every year
  18. Good thing, at least we don't get our hopes up for a playoff run that's unrealistic
  19. According to the announcers,"that could be it for the Bills." don't go anywhere, there might still be a chance.
  20. we need the Burger King guy to come by and give us some points
  21. here is where we bust it wide open....score on this drive, then score on the next 49 possession via turnover
