I just want to know who's going to be the odd man out in the event that the Bills draft a RB in the 4th round or earlier. If that were to happen, the only two who are really safe would be Fred and whomever the draft pick is. That leaves Spiller vs. Dixon for the last roster spot (with as many WRs we have, i doubt they keep 4 RBs). So I think consensus would be that Dixon would be sent packing, but why? No chance Spiller resigns here. I'm not a Spiller hater but he certainly has not lived up to the hype he had out of college and has only had one really productive year (I don't include this year due to the injuries but kudos to him making up for lost time at the end of the season). Therefore I think the Bills should be shopping him hard in and around the draft. If we could get a second round pick for him, that'd be stellar.

Excellent, there were concerns towards the end of the year with his relationship to the front office.

Notice how all those articles say "Bills complain", while his piece on the Colts is completely unsolicited.

Love how Mike Florio writes an article on how the Colts have to play three teams coming off their bye, whereas he said literally nothing last year when we had six. SIX!!!!

I mean the schedulers shouldn't be looking to put warm weather teams in Buffalo late in the season on purpose but it almost seems like they intentionally did the exact opposite.

One billion ain't enough

It's one of those rare years that I'm not so worried about the Bills messing up. Last year I really didn't want the Bills to take either of the guards or Geno Smith, luckily they didn't (although the jury is still out on him). There have been years that I'd have a list of ten or so prospects I was worried out of my mind about the Bills drafting. This year, I have just minor concerns about the Bills taking Dix or one of the QBs. I even have a little apprehension about Ebron; he's a great talent but he drops a lot of passes. Given the choice between him and Evans, I'll take Evans.

All these Pats* fans responding to this by saying, "he sucks, he can't cover anything". But he doesn't need to cover, that's what Kiko's there for.

Reminds me of Frank Gore. Good combo of size and slashing ability.

Fact of the matter is we got better today. It's the equivalent of finding a starting caliber wide out in the sixth round. Kid is from Buffalo so any off the field issues he may have might be calmed now that he's with his family here. Not a huge contract, but we dont have cap issues anyway. love it.

I mean Jake Matthews is not a for sure goner at nine. The Bucs trade with us might be an indication that Tampa wants Evans, setting up what the bears have in Marshall and Jeffries, but with Evans and Jackson. Matthews seemed like the guy for Tampa but now I'm not so sure.

I seem to remember a certain headache named Marshawn Lynch who we gave away for nothing that's doing big things elsewhere. Not saying the article you shared isn't interesting, I just think the author might be over thinking things.

think about it: Fred is 33, CJ is in a contract year. In one season our runningback core could be our biggest problem.

As much as I'd like getting both Evans and Nicholas, it'd be pretty shocking if the Bills didn't go with an OT in the first two rounds. Mine goes: 1. WR Mike Evans, Texas A&M. 2. OT Cyrus Kouandijo, Alabama. 3. SLB Shayne Skov, Stanford. 4. OG Anthony Steen, Alabama.

So does this mean she chooses who the team is sold to?

The Bills wanted D-Jax, didn't get him. The Bills wanted Kenny Britt, didn't get him. I think both of these moves were meant to bring in a number one receiver (you can debate whether Britt is a number one WR but he's a big target). The Bills know their need for a big target, they've said it several times since the end of last year. They also know the importance of giving Manuel all the tools he needs to succeed. If Evans is on the board at nine there's no way they don't take him.

Exactly. Even as a college student I'd pitch in some funds for sure. They could do a program where you donate "X" amount and you get a seat with a name plate on it.
