I was under the impression that he was there during a private team walk through? Plus he was on the field talking to the coaching staff, which seems promising to me.

I doubt they'd let a FA go watch the team run plays without having a general understanding of where he intends on signing. But I guess that's just me, I have no idea what the Bills are thinking sometimes.

Have to agree, it makes more sense to focus more attention on our defense for the time being. We got our back up QB, we got another weapon in Brad Smith and we're adding them to an offense that for the most part moved the ball well last year. The bottom line is our defense last year took us out of several games early, so it makes sense to bolste the defense more. On the other hand id be ecstatic to find out that we at least made an effort for Miller. We may not run an offense that incorporates TEs well but I trust in Gailey's coaching schemes enough that he would be a nice fit. And also very happy Heap went to Arizona, Jet fans are really starting to get flustered. Many are even upset that they signed Burress. I would know, I live in Jets territory.

the fact he said "...can't wait to find a home." is a little troublesome. But the fact he's there is a good sign.

But look at his production when he is healthy. Injuries happen, and luckily for him the games he's missed haven't been because of one injury in particular, they varied. So sometimes a guy goes through a rough patch, doesn't mean he's washed up.

I've heard he's comfortable with both. Green Bay does run a 3-4 so there really shouldn't be any concern regarding what defense we run.

If he did actually fail his physical/conditioning test, that will bring his market value WAY down. We could potentially get him on the cheap, low risk, high reward.

Why are we not going after Kirk Morrison! (that we know of). The guys a tackle machine, he can fit into any scheme. This is the move I want to see asap.

Is it possible that the Bills are targeting a free agent OLB like Manny Lawson so the want to move Moats inside for the time being so he can learn both positions? Pure speculation.

I don't think anyone thinks that at this point. We're 8-8 at the absolute best if we go out and sign a minimum of two starters at important positions in free agency. And as of right now that doesn't seem likely.

Is Kirk Morrison an UFA? Because if he was there'd be no excuse for them not to go after him.
