Well the ratings probably take into account the Bill's OL musical chairs...and not so much TE's ability....after all, TE has to have some time to get the ball away...and it would be nice to not see him blind-sided (read: another concussion?) because an overweight RT is now playing LT...

We have to billieve that the coaches know what they are doing in moving a RT to LT...and that they were no other options available to solidify the OL in order to get to the playoffs. I mean...that is what good coaches do right?...and these coaches have shown us that they are good coaches - right?

right, here is a player that the Bills couldn't get rid of last year as he failed the physical going to the colts and was fined by the Bills for being overweight....first round bust or what? The other issue is that he has been unable to stay healthy...so he has to know that the writing is on the wall...perform or be cut...

It should be up to the coaching staff to adjust the number of practices, game-day/personal adjustments and play calling as necessary to lead the team to victories. Some coaching staffs are obviously better at this than others. If you are happy with more losses than wins every year, than DJ has been your man.

The Bills lease runs until 2012. RW will be 91 yrs old in October. If DJ posts another 7-9, the Bills will likely have another coaching staff for 2010. That is why we need Jauron and company to turn this thing around now and why I agree with TO: “I think to get us to the playoffs we just have to take it one game at a time. We’re going to start that in New England on September the 14th and we’re going to work our butts off to go up there and get a win.” They need to play every game like it is a playoff game because if they don't - they will never see the playoffs.

I agree 8&8 - how do you know that Trent Edwards will not finally put it all together become the QB that this franchise needs? I also billieve that Dick Jauron will be gone if the Bills finish under .500. So this should be an interesting year if DJ can win more than lose - or it will likely be a new GM and coaching staff. My only hope is that the Bills get their act together for a playoff run before they go up for sale.

Wait...most of these players are only paid millions of dollars a year...you want them to show up and show emotion? I'm with Jim Kelly on this one...sign more players like TO if it means that you can tell the difference between winning and losing in the locker room after a game. Maybe the fans should expect more also - even if that means being critical of the coaching or performances on the field.

6 straight seasons of 25th or lower ranked offense means that whatever the Bills have been trying has not worked. Playing musical OL chairs might not work either, but at least the Bills understand that there is a problem moving the ball and scoring - so they drafted some help. You are right about everything falling into place in time to win more than 7 games though. And what does that mean? If the Bills under DJ fail to reach 8 games in 2009, DJ will be gone and a new coach with a new staff and probably a new system will be installed (translation: rebuilding mode).
