  1. obviously the results of a well coached team
  2. you are right we would have had a team with a different name, a different owner, a different priority and probably a much more consistently competitive team Ralph and Brandon have played this extortion angle to the max. put a quality team on the field - the fans deserve more than extortionist threats and moving games against key rivals out of the country
  3. you are incorrect. this poster hails from Russ Brandon's spin machine. Influencing gullible posters for over 8 years
  4. Ralph is still trying to contact Harvey Johnson to take over before he fires Dick.
  5. You are right - the Bills do know that they have created a teflon shield to protect all members of the clown show. No one takes responsibility and no one can be held accountable by the outside world. I guess your definition of accountability does not include the quality of the talent the front office has acquired and put on the field. Any objective analysis of the player moves would demand that the talent evaluators who have been butchering personnel decisions for 8 years be replaced. let the clown show continue
  6. maybe if Marv had a clue, they would have actually run Thurman more than 15 times in that Super Bowl since he was averaging over 8 yards a carry. but hey- he's only the head coach - it wasn't his job
  7. you'd better round up enough talent to match the Super era teams or Marv will have even less success than Big Dick. Marv was fortunate enough to have had Bill Polian stock the team with overwhelming talent and Marv still managed to screw it up and not win a Super Bowl.
  8. in typical misguided fashion, Brandon will upgrade his attacks on Peters to divert attention from retaining Dick. of course the savvy Bills fans will buy into this nonsense just like last year and band together to drive Peters out of town. After this wonderful accomplishment, Brandon will stoke the fans up to again believe there is more hope in 2009 (even though the team will have less talent and will still be coached by a clueless zombie.
  9. He probably knows baseball talent more than football talent but that's what happens you hire a baseball marketing guy to run your football team
  10. nobody does- including the Bills there is no accountability, except to the almighty dollar
  11. of course Ted's available he has destroyed defenses and been fired by 3 different teams with that track record, he fits right in with Dick Unless Wade is the DC directing the defense, stay far away from Ted
  12. The biggest travesty, bar none, is that the clown show in the front office is still performing its unique brand of comedy with no end in sight. Tom Modrak, who is too busy to even visit Buffalo and John Guy are the main reason why the talent evaluation of both college and pro free agents has been so shoddy with the resulting lack of talent on the field.
  13. that would be the correct assessment By continually starting crappy players, you will have a continually crappy OL maybe not as crappy as if you rotated different crappy players, but still crappy. just review the Bills OL situation for the last 15 years. On the other hand, if you had a program in place where you consistently drafted OL players and melded them into your OL mix, you would retain continuity but at a very high level of production.
  14. No - you are wrong The Pats pay market value to the players that deserve it. what they don't do is overpay for positions and players that are easily replaceable. The Pats would pay Peters - they would not have paid huge money to Kelsay
  15. I hear the Marlins want Russ Brandon back.
  16. POZ will be in his 3rd year next his career will be half over let's hope he starts to perform at a level worthy of a high 2nd and high 3rd pick slow and white don't make him good
  17. the reason the Pats don't have stupid holdouts is that they don;t pinch pennies for players that deserve market value. The Bills, on the other hand, have their COO directing a smear campaign against their best player, who is only the 3rd highest paid guy on his own OL. The Bills promised to re-do his deal this year if he came in - and have now reneged on that promise.
  18. that's not how the Marlins did it when Brandon was there
  19. could be tied directly to Brandon reneging on his promise to re-do Peters deal in 2008. expect more of the same in 2009 unless Brandon re-does his deal, as he promised to do. the deal should be done no later than January
  20. at least for Buffalo fans the guy is a 2 time pro-bowler and the genius fans in buffalo want to run him out of town.
  21. Anyone know if Linda Bogdan, that legendary talent evaluator of the Bills, has responsibility for the scouting the OL. If she is as good as most posters think, it sure would explain why the Bills have been unable to evaluate and acquire talented OL since Polian left.
  22. nice job Russ with attacking your own players just sign him to a new deal and avoid the circus atmospshere for all of next off-season. you don't get to sign all-stars very often- so savor the moment
  23. kind of like promoting a marketing guy from the cheapest baseball team in the league to COO.
  24. Greer is gone. McGee will be gone as well. If they keep these vet CBs, the front office won't have a convenient excuse to waste premium picks on more CBs. If they
  25. "keeps his legacy as a great owner" First he has to become a great owner- that would entail actually making winning a championship a priority as opposed to an accidental result of maximizing cash flow. Ralph's actions qualify him as more shake-down artist, sheister and extortionist, than "great owner" All hail Ralph, he didn't move the team out of Buffalo!! (He didn't do much with it when it was here, but now you are nit-picking)
