  1. I'd say the criticism comes more from angry fans who disapprove of his non-stop tweets. That's the real reason he gets more shyt than our other DB's. I personally wouldn't mind him shutting his yap and simply playing ball. Usually guys who run their mouths as much as DW does has no problem backing it up come game day. If your excuse is that the lack of pass rush prevents you from doing your job, then maybe you shouldn't spend all week calling out the other team. Put your helmet on and play ball like everyone else...
  2. Uh, you're doing it wrong... Stop trying to derail our derail....
  3. Saying the Bills are cursed is stupid....
  4. I like where this thread is going...
  5. You're in the minority as far as open receivers go. I couldn't tell you if they're open or not, I don't go to the games. I also don't have one of those fancy new TV's that allow for me to see the WR's downfield. I see your point about winning 4 games instead of 0, but I can't bring myself to "hope" for losses when we're 2 games into a 16 game schedule. When the day comes I find myself hoping we lose, I'll stop cheering for them all-together and focus my time on something more constructive, like jaywalking or something...
  6. I think most would agree, but with Trent there seems to be issues "on top of" his O-line's play. Nobody expects Fitz to light the world on fire, but you can bet that on 3rd and long, he'll be attempting a first down pass instead of checking down or tucking and folding. Those appear to be the differences in Trent and Fitz; he gives his WR's a chance to make plays whereas Trent will not. But like I said, most would agree that our O-line is laughably deficient.
  7. God I miss Tonawanda...lol!
  8. Saw this on macrumors.... It made my arms ache for about an hour. Underpaid doesn't even begin to describe this guy. I hugged my cell phone after this.
  9. This is the first time in 31 years that I've ever witnessed someone NOT emotionally tied to 'Western New York/Bills draft pick' voluntarily become a fan of the Buffalo Bills. Good luck with that....
  10. I seriously don't remember seeing more than 5 guys rushing at one time at all last week. Our blitz was nilch. Until we can learn how to effectively blitz, we're sitting ducks on D. Our guys are on the field for far too long to expect them to cover WR's for over 5-6 seconds, and that amount of time isn't coming down anytime soon when we're sending 4-5 guys on each play.
  11. ^^ Agreed on both Chad Jackson and now Nelson. Also, my comment in regards to seeing WR's open from a TV was in no way an excuse for Edwards. I am of the opinion that 'wide open' is a rarity and at some point TE needs to learn to allow his WR's an opportunity to make a play.
  12. I don't know for sure, but I'd assume if the offer was right, anyone on our team is capable of being shipped out, including our 3rd string RB. I can also think of 2 other RB's who showed more promise during pre-season games than Lynch has the last couple of years, albeit against 2nd/3rd team D's. Not sure I believe he's not available, Nix is simply posturing.
  13. Do some of you get different game feeds than the rest of us? What replays showed wr's downfield wide open?? Not to say I believe otherwise, but without an actual game tape made for coaches/scouts, I don't understand how fans sitting at home watching the game are able to tell if Lee or any other WR was open downfield. Perhaps I missed those camera angles??
  14. Then shame on you for throwing to Steve Johnson. And shame on you for not getting rid of the ball sooner. Do you wear gloves, too??? *Can play both sides if needed*
  15. One 15 yd. pass "downfield" should just about wrap that up for ya....
  16. I just stopped by because I noticed you spelled our Team's name wrong, so I knew there would be a golden nugget of knowledge to follow. Turns out I was right
  17. So you are admitting you didn't actually WATCH the Bills game Sunday, but are instead just going off of highlights and random member's opinions of the game, right?? The Dansby hit he took was no walk in the park, so relax with the "Trent's a wuss" crap, it's getting old. He had a miserable game, but it has nothing to do with not being able to take a hit...
  18. Just to go off of what Dog was saying (if you don't mind, Dog); DIAF....
  19. WIN!!! Too bad they're sold out....
  20. Sad as it may seem, I fear we do...
  21. Simply put, Bradshaw is the better overall back. Glad you have a friend who was able to prevent you from targeting Jacobs. I still think they'll attempt a 60/40 split, but I'm pretty sure that will fade quickly now that Bradshaw is getting a legit shot at the starter role. He should be a fantastic back this year. He sort of reminds me of Ray Rice in terms of ability and running style. *has him on his fantasy roster, too!*
  22. I'll say this; If I come back tonight to find us all with Dan Marino avatars, Scott's gonna have some 'splainin to do...
  23. I don't doubt TE can get us to the playoffs, I doubt our O-line can protect him long enough to get a fair shot. I think TE and Cutler both are partial victims of shotty O-lines, mixed in with sub-par WR's, and sprinkled with indecisiveness(?)... However, if I had to choose right now between the two, I'd go with Cutler. He's everything most here complain Edwards is not, or does not have; guts, cannon arm, and the ability to give his WR's a chance to make plays.
  24. LOL... I could see Troy getting a chance if Alex doesn't excel the first 3-4 games... Good pick up for them.
