Finally, a game worth watching... I still wasn't impressed with the way Stan handled the line-up tonight, but I was glad to see Bass get more minutes. Here's to hoping Game 5 will bring the same intensity from both teams! (I'm looking at you, Vince )

The best part about that trade was aquiring Ryan Anderson... I was worried Carter wouldn't know how to act come playoff time due to his miserable teams in the past. Looks like I was right, unfortunately. Turk fit our club's gameplan much better than Vince, and we did little to change our approach, much like this series. What a let down. Have to give credit to Boston, though. They're playing exceptional ball.

Honestly it's like comparing apples to oranges. Outside of those glazed donuts, they have nothing to offer. Timmy's at least has soups, sandwhiches, coffee, etc....

Be serious for a minute, please... Second question; your son is playing in a Baseball game so you, the wife, and your young daughter go to watch him play. Then, some punk kid who thinks he's cool whips out his "yahoo" and starts pissing in front of you guys during the National Anthem. Still think this incident shouldn't follow him around for a while???? As a parent of two daughters I can tell you this right now; a kid pulling out his ding dong would not have been the only story at the field that day....

Playoffs will do that to guys who know how to "act like you've been there before".

I have to be honest; it would not surprise me one bit to see Orlando take the next two, what with the way the Celts have played at home this year. Since we're being honest, though, it wouldn't surprise me to see Boston close it out at home with the next two either... I don't like what Stan is doing in this series, that's for sure. I think he's trying to over-coach a little. Here's hoping they can at least make it a series....

Nice post! I tend to agree on letting the vote take place with ALL original candidates. It keeps the AP out of the spotlight (at least it does in regards to people with a brain) and allows the voters to decide if Cushing should have the award or not. Great point on Rose as well. Let the voters decide if he should be allowed into the HOF. We live in a Democracy, the process is accurate. The beef should be with the writers who voted, not the AP. They did the right thing here. John; You should entertain the idea of the "IGNORE" feature. I'd also like to add that the BAN HAMMER should have been dropped down hard in here for at least 2 posters....but whatever. To go off of this, I was shocked he didn't figure out early on that his jumper just wasn't going to drop. His mindset should have been to drive, every single time. When he goes to the Basket, he can't be stopped without being fouled. Doesn't make sense that he'd continue taking jump shot after jump shot all night long when it was painfully obvious he was off... Pierce did a good job. He dared Lebron to shoot, and the gamble payed off.

On top of my "man crush" on SVG, I'd also like to say what a pleasure it is being a fan of a team with such a great GM in Otis Smith. Man has he put together a helluva team this year! Our Defense has gotten better with the additions of Barnes and Carter (doesn't hurt to have Dwight at Center either). What an exciting team!

As much as I despise Boston area sports teams, I enjoy watching this Celtics team. I've always liked Pierce, Allen, and Garnett. Rondo is just fantastic with those guys! That said, Perkins to me is a whiny pooh-butt with little to offer. I've never liked him at all. I'd rather Big Baby get all his minutes. BTW, nice win! Can you explain the bolded part a little better? Because it sounds like you're saying our running attack is MARGINAL because they don't close games and/or win games for us when we're behind. Agreed. But my example wasn't that of some random guy on the street. It was relevant to what we're discussing here in the first place; someone trespassing and posing a potential threat to others. Agree to disagree I guess. My stance is once someone breaks the law and then attempts to elude police, they should be tased. Yours is to wait and see if they truly pose a threat first. Good luck with that....

Well I'm not a cop, so I'm not sticking up "for my own". I just hope you don't have kids. If you do, I hope some nut job doesn't come running around swirling a towel in your yard while your kids are playing.
