  1. I love Johnson and think he can be something special. That being said I can't see him passing Reed on the depth chart. Reed was solid last year and will probably get better with the addition of TO.
  2. Ya, to me this is kind of degrading. Does Russ think these answers will make the fans happy or let them gain insight on the draft? It makes me think that he thinks we are idiots. I'm probably overreacting, but I think we're all going a little crazy this week.
  3. That's what sucks. He organized some great things for the city when he was here. Buffalo has no player that represents the city. Unforunately the guy that last took on that responsibility was a bad quarterback. No I did not want J.P. in over Edwards. I just think he was a good guy.
  4. Russ: Well the sky could be alot of things. We like the way it looks right now and we're happy to move forward with it the way it is.
  5. Did they give any idea of what it would cost?
  6. Very true. The front 7 should be our first two picks. Then we draft our center in the 2nd.
  7. I wish him good luck. He may have sucked here but he was an alright guy.
  8. Half of his answers don't answer the question he was asked. What was the point of this? (I'm not attacking the poster at all) I mean what is the point of this Q and A. These were generic things we already know.
  9. Nice post. I completely agree. Reed can be much more lethal than Parrish in the slot. The guy had 56 catches and 0 drops last season. I think Reed could walk all over nickel corners with T.O. and Evans on the outside. My prediction is Reed puts up better numbers than T.O. this season.
  10. Nice post paps. I don't understand why people think we can get a young proven TE for a fourth and think Roscoe is of the same value. But I'll play along. I would go with the Pettigrew scenario because the guy is an outstanding blocker. He could mask a problem at tackle pretty nicely.
  11. I paid close attention to Ellis when he did play. He was not good. I hope he was adjusting because he looked pretty bad. This guy would would make one effort to get to the qb and just stand there clueless. In training camp I remember Jauron saying this guy was a project which is not what you want to hear about a third rounder. The fact that a single word hasn't been mentioned is not a good sign. And this guy dressed for 7 games? That's pathetic for a 3rd rounder that is competing with the worst group of DE's in the NFL.
  12. Yep. There's so many ways to go in this draft because we have so many needs. Another thing. I wouldn't be suprised if we go safety in the 2nd or 3rd.
  13. Hah, Ya it wasn't that easy especially for the older players. Another reason I made this was so that people realize in most cases you have to be productive in college to be productive in the pro's. Which is why Ayers scares the hell out of me.
  14. Career college sack stats of Hall of Fame DE's and Current 2009 draft prospects Player Sacks Bruce Smith 46 Reggie White 32 Chris Doleman 25 Julius Peppers 30.5 Michael Strahan 41.5 Terrell Suggs 44 Jason Taylor 21 Dwight Freeney 34 Robert Ayers 9 Everette Brown 22 Brian Orakpo 21 Aaron Maybin 16 (soph) Tyson Jackson 16 Larry English 30 Michael Johnson 20 *Connor Barwin 10 *(1 season at DE) It's hard to compare these guys to the all time greats but these stats are interesting to look at.
  15. I've seen those highlights a few times before. Did anybody see how he stays home on reverses and misdirections? Our DE's would have been right where the other team wanted them on those plays. It looks like he plays smart and knows the game. They obviously don't show his bad plays against the run but he did pretty good from what I saw.
  16. Very true. I don't care if he's 5'5". The guy flat out gets to the quaterback. Oh and Ramius that pic and description is hilarious.
  17. He definitely is. When you look at any DE he's by far the best.
  18. There are too many things you said right here.
  19. Drafting a LT in the first seems like a bad move. He porbably won't start right away and when he does he will be compared constantly to Peters. That can get to a kid. Plug Walker in this year, let Bell develop and see where we stand. This way we can focus on the DE talent that will be there at 11 and one of the top teir linebackers at 28.
  20. Nothing too interesting but none the less thanks for the heads up timba.
  21. or could it be this kind of bust http://prod.static.bills.clubs.nfl.com/ass..._kelly_bust.jpg
