I understand where your coming from. More than half of us said we were done when Jauron was retained. And I think we all envisioned a better season. But unfortunately this city has very little to offer outside of football. No matter what, most of us have renewed season tickets. The problem is we are telling Raplh and whoever else who may own this team in the future that no matter what they do we will put up with their sh-- because we'll be back no matter what next year.

Somebody suggested the throwback style of the uni's but keeping the dark blue, and wearing the old white helmets. In training camp they wore the dark blue practice jerseys with the white helmets and it looked great.

Yes, Harris was well known. And he was a great pick for a 5th rounder. I just think Freeman also was a great option for us.

Did you ever think there might be a reason Freeman is mentioned more often? Not only is Freeman bigger, faster, and stronger, he had way better stats in college than Harris. I'm so sick of people assuming that because a player is well-known everyone that likes him is an idiot that has just heard his name before.

I think that's a huge problem with this team. Our leaders show good qualities of leaders but not the talent many leaders possess.

Hmmmm. Yes I have played organized football my whole life, injured too. So what your saying is that if you walk on the field injured your not expected to perform. That is rediculous. There was a million ways he could have approached hitting Morris while protecting his shoulder. He's just not a great tackler. And once again I said that play isn't the reason he sucks, but hurt shoulder or not that was embarrasing.

OK cat your post makes some sense but here is my problem with it. Your post assumes that it is clear to see when a passing play and running play are going to occur. Who's in when it's unclear of a pass or run situation? Yes I know you have a formula for everything in between, but of course I have a problem with it. Whitner at the nickel? I could only see that if Youboty is hurt (which will most likely happen.) And if that's the case I think Bird should play the nickel. It is his natural position and he should play well there. I think the original poster means, on that depth chart who should be #1 at SS and FS?

Nobody is using the Sammy Morris play as to why he sucks. His mediocre stats and lack of play making ability do that on their own. But since we are on the topic, did you actually watch Whitner on that play? He did nothing to show he was a hard hitter, he got in front of Morris and waited to get run over. That is never a characteristic of a hard hitting safety. And comparing Whitner's play to the people on this board is pretty funny. That's when you know he's not that good. You don't say any other player would have crumpled, you say every other fan on a message board would.

I couldn't agree with you more. Scott was great last year and the bottom line is that he out-performed whitner. I don't care if whitner is bad, ok, or great. Scott was better. He proved it last season. And can someone explain what whitner has done in this league besides run his mouth and update his facebook status? He just isn't that good. There is no reason to believe he is the player they thought he would be. He has proved nothing in his three years in the league.
