  1. Poz has to no loyalty for a city that embraced him. Let's go Barnett!!!
  2. Um New England and NYJ thumped us bad the last 2 games of the year. I flew in for the New England game in freezing weather to watch them lay down and get their butts kicked. Oh well, was happy to be there but it wasn't pretty.
  3. This is more of Buddy's doing. I can't believe credit is being passed to Overdorf. Building through the draft also means retaining the right guys on your roster and not reaching for over priced free -agents.
  4. This was pretty rough, I just finished watching the game and I was upset with a few things. In particular, Spiller missed (2) blitz pick-up's and nearly got Fitz killed. Bell looked pretty bad in pass protection on 2-3 plays. Defensively, we got 0 penetration and pretty much got dominated up front with the 1's and 2's. One thing I noticed is that we played in base 3-4 / 4-3 all night, I don't think we blitzed at all. On the positive, I think Thigpen played well, and was pretty accurate - without much help from his receivers. Fred Jackson is the man, all around great back, let's just hope Spiller can learn something from him. This will be a long year, and I really hope we are headed in the right direction. We still have a lot of holes and unproven's on both sides of the ball. I remain positive.
  5. I was thinking RT, but you might be on to something
  6. Exactly. Watch the tape, this kid is not the problem, and the ceiling is very high.
  7. If this is true... so much for the theory of trading Lee away to clear way for the younger talent to make the roster and contribute.
  8. Your logic makes no sense. Just because some quack says it doesn't make it true. If I accuse you of beating your kids, are you obligated to prove me wrong? I would ignore this fool and move on.
  9. Amen - I was thinking the same thing. This kid is impressive - I know it's only one game, but from what I've seen in college, read about in camp and saw last night... I'm excited!
  10. I don't think there os a chance he makes the final roster.
  11. It was pathetic much like his sorry career. That play alone would be enough for me to to cut him... what a waste of a pick.
  12. If there is a smokescreen it would be to cover their interest in another player... most likely Gabbert. This would be to prevent a possible tradeup scenario where someone jumps in front of Buffalo to 'steal' their guy.
  13. No problem, that was kind of my take... it was a pretty fair piece from both sides. I loved this signing from day one, for various reasons on the field reasons, but mainly because of the national light it shines on a great organization. I know there is a pretty significant risk, but I absolutely loved this quote... "These people eat, breathe and sleep Buffalo Bills," Owens says. "We get shown so much love." Go Bills!

  15. I was very high on this kid out of Mizzou- and I believe he is a better fit now than he was a year ago. Sounds like there are several TE's on the wire right now, would not be at all surprised to see us make a move.
  16. Can we at least play one game this year before we ask for his head!? I am not a fan of Jauron (as a coach), but not sure if I really think he should get fired now (a few days before the opener). Last year after he finished up the season 2-8 would have been more appropriate. Anyway drink up to the 1000000nd 'fire Jauron' thread!!
  17. Marty would be a perfect fit for Buffalo.
  18. Complete disrespect - I frequent this board daily and without your contributions it would be a shame. Hopefully a select few knuckleheads dont ruin your participation for the rest of us.
  19. here too... http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?showtopic=95125
  20. Yea he was definitely a hot topic in their camp this summer. I was hoping the Rhodes cut was to make room for Redman - really concerned about or RB situation while Lynch serves his suspension.
  21. Their RB situation is pretty good, they kept... 34 Mendenhall, Rashard RB 5-10 225 6/19/87 2 Illinois 21 Moore, Mewelde RB 5-11 209 7/24/82 6 Tulane 39 Parker, Willie RB 5-10 209 11/11/80 6 North Carolina 44 Summers, Frank RB 5-10 230 9/6/85 R UNLV Frank Summers was a 5th round pick who was injured for most of camp. Redman was undrafted, perhaps they felt like they had more vested with Summers. The other three were locks.
