    the problem I have with this (and all the other FO failure posts) is that no one knows under what constraints they are operating. They may not have been aggressive this year due to other forces at play, which may or may not be temporary. So, 1-15 may mean survival if they were told upfront that the unsettled labor issue would mean they would need to cool their heels for a year.

    I agree with you 100% and I am basing this on my read of this thread and NOT anything else. NFW 20 minutes before the cut someone posts this, who has also done this before, and doesn't go bananas when it happens.

    FWIW, the Redskins beat reporter, in explaining that Dock will soon be replaced by a draft pick, said that last year not a SINGLE coach on the Skins' staff wanted Dockery back. It was all Vinnie Cerato reclaiming a past project.
