Trade for Chriss Simms

I think this guy is what we need in a qb.He was playing very well before he got hurt in Tampa.

Denver does not need him and he would probably come cheap.Simms is a winner and has a nice arm,

How did he play after he got hurt? No thanks.

What's with the love fest with Gruden. The guy sucks. He took over a loaded Tony Dungy team with a killer defense, got lucky and squeezed out a SB win.... right when he wasn't the "hunted". Since then, he ran that team into the ground and even his players tossed him under the bus. He's a career offensive coordinator with a big mouth and rests on that one SB. He ain't done **** since then.

Cowher stands head and shoulders above the rest... and he ain't coming.

How long ago was that? There is a reason he is cheap. Where was he a winner? Simms is not the answer to anything.

Why don't you guys asking for new QB's get the fact that anyone the Bills bring in will have a few good games and then suffer the same fate as JP , Trent Edwards, Drew Bledsoe and all the rest.

A crappy O line makes for a crappy team and crappy QB play.

The Bills had one of the top OT's in the NFL and traded him away and then didn't replace him, stupidity reigns in Buffalo.

The FO stinks, the head coach stinks, the schemes this team runs stink. The Tampax 2 and the Mike Martz offense need to be scrapped forever.

The entire franchise needs a complete overhaul in most fans eyes, the owner doesn't think that way because the team sold enough season tickets for this year.

Guess that makes him a better coach than Dungy, who also has "that one SB" despite many loaded teams in Indy.

His last two seasons he went 9-7 with a playoff appearance in 07. Before that, his leading QBs were Gradkowski, Simms and Greise.

Good thing TB got rid of him. Wonder how all those players who threw him under the bus are enjoying 0-5?

It was the QBs NOT the Oline...name me a QB that left the Bills after being horrible that was great elsewhere! You can't. It wasn't the coaching, it wasn't the OL it was the fact the QBs were bad. How did Rob Johnson, K Holcomb, JP Losman and Drew Bledsoe do elsewhere? Oh yeah, they didn't do well b/c they were not good QBs. We need a QB. I do not think Chris Simms is that QB but am tired of all the excuses that these QBs are not good b/c of everything else. When it comes down to it, it is the QB. And we haven't had a good one since Kelly with exception of Flutie for a year.

And if RJ was SOOOOO good just a victim of circumstance here how come he was horrible with Gruden in Tampa and with the Redskins!

If it was Dungy's team that Gruden took to the Super Bowl, could it not be argued that the very same Raiders team he beat in the "one SB he rests on" was Gruden's team that Bill Callahan took to the game?

Let it be known that Gruden is not my #1 choice for the Bills coach IF (and that's a big if) we were to go after one of the known quantities out there. But it was not Jon Gruden who has ran the Tampa Bay Buccaneers into the ground. If there is anyone who ran that team into the ground, it is Mr. Malcolm Glazer himself.

His first mistake was letting Rich McKay, the GM of the Bucs glory years, walk in the middle of December to become the President and GM of the division rival Falcons. McKay is still the president of that team, by the way.

Glazer's second mistake? It's no coincidence that the decline of the Buccaneers came right after the Super Bowl victory, as Glazer slowly bought out shareholders of Manchester United. In just a couple of years he went from a 3% shareholder to 98%. Man U is one of the best known soccer teams in the world. Shares aren't cheap. I don't know the exact amount spent, but I'd be willing to bet Mr. Glazer is bringing in a whole lot more Euros as the controlling owner of Man U than he is as full owner of the Bucs, and his interest in the team shows that, as they have continued a downhill slide the longer he has been at the helm of Man U.

just go away, far ,far away. you are clueless its not trent its the fact that we have no tackles and cant protect him. go learn the freaking game.

our RT today is a rookie who was on GB's practice squad 3 weeks ago. like pat kirwin said 4 times this week blame buffalos management. their only problem on offense is our offense line but especially the tackles.he actually likes the interior of our line and says they will keep getting better.

go learn the game no QB can throw the ball when he does not even get 3 seconds before he is getting his ass kicked.

last week we went double TE the whole game so we only had TO a and evans and one running back.

if you actually watched the freaking game they doubled both our WR's and we still couldnt protect trent in max protect. when we went 3 wide they were all over trent in a heart beat.

you want to see the real bills go watch the NE and Tampa game. remember all those empty backfield 5 receiver sets well they all went out the door the day we lost butler. we have 7 freaking starters out thats one third of the freaking starters and you geniuses want to blame edwards, get real!

the fact of the matter is we dont have any quality tackles on this team.

bell was good when we had butler because they could give him help but with all the youth now they cant help out everyone so bell is also looking bad but he definitely has promise for next year but he's taking his licks now without butler in the lineup anymore.

Agreed. The frustrating part is that if the Bills knew they were gonna cut Langston Walker, then Peters cap number is a lot easier to swallow. Front office and head coach not on the same page. Again.

All of you Trent apologists are the same. It seems he has had a raw deal since high-school. You know the last time he did anything but lose consistently.
