Interesting quesiotn I can think of 4 sure fire and one maybe:

TO

Evans

Mcgee

Stroud

Wood if he is as good as he seems

Anyone else?

Langston Walker could start for any NFL team....at right tackle. Aaron Schobel would still start for most NFL teams. Kawika Mitchell was already a starter for both the Chiefs and Giants before coming to Buffalo. Morman of course would easily be the punter for at least 29 of the other 31 teams. Finally, Trent Edwards would compete to start for many other teams around the NFL.

Almost all could start for the right contending team, depending on that team's situation. Player personnel-wise, IMO the main difference between contending teams & the Bills is that contending teams have a number of high impact difference makers, while the Bills have hardly any, especially on D where I don't see any right now. And the difference between championship teams & contending teams (again, player-personnel wise) is that not only are their impact players better/more of, but they don't have any truly suck players starting. So if the Bills want to make a run at a championship, they have to add more impact players & eliminate the starters who suck, the average players like Mitchell & McGee can hold their own... new coaches and new D-scheme would help too lol.

Perfect answer. Just imagine if you replaced Ellison with a Demarcus Ware/ Shawn Merriman type LB and added James Whitten at TE. Two huge upgrades at our worst postions and then we become a potentially dangerous team. The margin between Detroit and New England is much closer than say the margin between USC and Tulane.

No Sir, Schobel would not start at right end for any contending team. He is a shell of himself, which at his best was not an impact player. Schobel at his best was good.

If Mike Vrabel could start for all thos Pat's teams what do you think Belichik would have done with Schobel? In the Pat's scheme at OLB he probably would get 12-14 sacks a year.

OK, let's find out how far we can stretch...Schobel might have had 90-170 sacks per year.

That's absolutlely hillarious. My madden 09 team in franchise mode is the exact current bills team, but with jason witten at TE and shawn merriman at OLB. I just won the superbowl on all madden.

Many players could be plugged into a good system and thrive. You could take a bunch of the Bills and put them in NE or Pitt and they would be great.

Amen. Put just about any of the Bills on a well coached, well motivated team and they would look very different.
