That scenario, however delightful it may be, will not come to fruition. JP has signed with the Lion. The Lion being MGM Studios. He has recently been the understudy to Scooby Hipsack, famous Hollywood double, in order to prepare for the more daring and dangerous scenes in Adam Sandler's upcoming sequel, You Don't Mess With the Zohan II.

and if that don't work out, he can always come back to Buffalo, plant a few trees, some flowers, and pick up garbage.

Just because a couple of IDIOT Coaches benched him in favor of Holcomb & Edwards does not mean he was outplayed by them.

JP was benched because people who should be experienced at evaluating player talent and performance saw that he just wasn't progressing. He has been in the league since 2003 and still has poor command of his position in terms of ability to read defenses and in ability to lead. He still looks hopelessly lost in the pocket even now.

There is a reason why JP has not been approached yet by anyone for a roster spot. I remember comments from sportswriters last season after JP acquitted himself so well subbing in that went something like: "The best thing JP can do to further his chance in free agency is sit on the bench."

JP may have great athletic ability. But you need more than that to play in the NFL. Being able to land 1 out of 5 bombs (an exaggeration for illustration purposes of course) to Lee Evans is a poor indicator of success. The road is littered with failed QBs who have tremendous athletic talent but have no head for the game. And it looks like JP unfortunately needs to be added to that list.

Lossman is a poor mans Mike Vick, as far as talent goes. Vick has a huge powerfull arm, J.P has a big arm that is capable of throwing the ball hard and far. Vick was probably the fastest guy on the field his first couple years, and was very athletic. J.P is quick and can run and also a good athlete.

Now the negative. Neither one of them ever learned how to read defenses. How to check down. Or how to put touch on the ball. They either threw it 100 miles an hour or a lame duck.

Not saying J.P is ANYTHING at all like Vick off the field. They could not be any different. Watching the two for years, they both seemed very similar in play to me.

Here's the major difference: In his 5 years in Buffalo, JP played under a NUMBER of DIFFERENT Head Coaches with DIFFERENT systems. That would retard ANYONES development. Trent has played the SAME system for the SAME Head Coach & has played in about the SAME amount of games as JP. I can't wait for the season to start. Trent will have weapons to utilize as JP NEVER DID. As you said, NO EXCUSES.

Edwards was on his second OC in two years.

JPL played in 42 games, started 33. TE played in 24 with 23 starts. Those are not "about the SAME".

Each coach and system that JPL played under concluded at one point or another that he wasn't a starting QB in the NFL.

What are the odds of that?
