Sorry, but I saw this and just had to barf get it out:

This is bad, and the author makes the mistake more than once:

"He is at the top," punter Brian Mooreman said.

But this one? Ugh. WTF?

Denney non-shilontly walked to the edge of the sideline pretending to be walking off the field. Uncovered, Denney waited for Mooreman's throw and jogged into the end zone for the score.

Well, I worked at a local newspaper in the Buffalo area in the late 90s and we had an ad in our classified section for Hunt Real Estate describing a house on the market, a larger ad, not just small print. And in the description, it stated the house had a huge deck, except they spelled deck with an "i." I made a photo copy and have it somewhere.

But that non-shilontly should cost someone a week's pay!

So that's why the locals used to call it the Dunkirk Disturber and the Jamestown Post-Urinal?

That guy muct have typed that article directly onto the page layout in their desk-top publishing software, that's the only way I can think of that spell check wouldn't catch that second screw up.

Great Caesar's Ghost! (As a true newspaperman would say). What the hell kind of writers do they have there? Do they read? Non-shilontly? Not even a freaking word!

*frantically scribbling with my red pen*

I emailed the guy when I read his article this afternoon. I guess he doesn't use Word to compose those articles. I suggested he get "Word Web" off the web for free.
