MelissaInPhilly
We lost our old Chihuahua mix, "Poppy" today. Not only was he older, he had an enlarged heart (many Chihuashuas do) and he passed away in his sleep. He was a good little guy -- despite his size he had the heart of a lion -- and he will be missed. Rest in peace, dear little friend.

BuffalOhio
I'm so sorry to hear that. Our little pug/chihuaha is having some hip troubles at 12. It's sad to see when they get old on us!

When we do hear from you, it's not always so cheery. Maybe a tailgate visit will help? I know what you're going through. Hang in there. It'll be alright. Rest in peace. BuffaloBud
Sorry to hear about your friend. Sometime, somewhere, something will remind you of him. The morning that we put Tex down it was a damp grey day. My last words to her were to find the open treat jar and the pond to get in a swim. That afternoon the skies cleared and the day turned out to be perfect. I don't care what anyone tells me, but in my heart of hearts she made the weather change. I leave you with this thought - Dog ownership is like a rainbow. Puppies are the joy at one end. Old dogs are the treasure at the other.
