PATS OL ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES: According to the Boston Globe New England OL Nick Kaczur was arrested on drug charges then turned informant to nail a dealer. Though Kaczur denies any knowledge of the sting operation the Globe reports he was likely a part of, the Pats lineman was apparently addicted to oxycodone a prescription pain killer. This isn't uncommon with football players as we all remember Brett Favre's addiction to vicodin. Earlier this offseason Pats special teamer Willie Andrews was arrested on drug charges to which he has plead not guilty.

The latest report is that his dealer was actually...........................Tom Brady  Yeah, he was coppin from Brady back when Brady was wearing that boot on his foot going to Giselle's house before the SB. It was all a front so Brady could hustle his pain killers :wallbash:

After all that has gone on over the last year or so, the drug dealer would have to be stupid to an almost Canadian level to not realize that the guy from the Patriots would be taping the whole thing.

Bravo!

The Putz failure was imminent.

When you are pass happy offense and have 80 TD’s in the air and 30 on the ground you are going to get defeated in the playoffs.

Both Philly and Baltimore had the game in the bag before they blew it and lost...

Or did the Pats get enough on game film to make Brady Mr 4th Qrt ??

Plus ... Name any other team that led the league in passing and scoring that won a SB.

(80 + 30) X 7 = 840 points in the regular season.

840 / 16 games = 52.5 points per game.

Wouldn't that be a sight to see?

I happen to think that such a club would not get defeated in the playoffs...

The 1999 Rams were #1 against the run and the #4 overall defense in the NFL. The offensive fantasists will claim the "effect" their offensive numbers had on their defensive effectiveness, but they will never acknolwedge that the '99 Rams played very good defense. The stat that dispells the false notion that the team was a heavily offense over defense team is the fact that the Rams were the #4 least scored upon defense in the league that year, while their offense was putting up fast scores. They faced more offensive plays from their opponents than any of the three defenses in front of them.

Actually the true stat is no QB who has led the NFL in passing yardage has ever won a SB.

Another Patriot linked to alleged dealer

Posted: Friday June 06, 2008 07:49AM ET

An accused drug dealer who allegedly sold hundreds of OxyContin pills to a New England Patriots lineman is old pals with another player and was a longtime political aide to an East Boston lawmaker, the Herald has learned. Daniel Ekasala, who faces charges of peddling the addictive prescription opiates to hulking Pats player Nick Kaczur, is also a childhood friend of former Patriots tight end Jermaine Wiggins. The two grew up together in East Boston but Ekasala's lawyer, Bernard Grossberg, said his client hasn't talked to the player in years.
