Amazing if it is shown at the proper aspect ratio of 2.35:1....

knowing HBO, I bet it will be cropped as usual.

ETA:

Excellent, they didn't crop it, thanks for the heads-up! I'll record the replay this morning from the beginning!

I've got 2.35:1 over here.....I still have some ambient light in the room, so I can't give a full assessment on the improvement over my DVD, but so far it looks pretty damn good.

I'm assuming this is beign broadcast in 720p

I don't know if it's 1080i either, but it blows away the DVD! This will stay on my DVR for awhile, thanks again!

Yeah, even with the ambient light I'm noticing an improvement over the DVD.....My DVD player is pretty damn good, but it's outmatched with the HD signal.....If there was ever a perfect film for HD, this is it

Enjoy!

And yet...it wasn't as bad as I remembered it. It was worse.

Put down the pen and step away from the screenplay, George!

Aw, man....come on.....if you can't get psyched about the last hour of Ep.III, I question whether you're a true SW fan at all!!

My brother had sworn off even seeing it cuase he hated Ep.I and II so much....I talked him into it and he loved the last hour of III. He said, "there's no way Lucas didn't have help for the last hour...."

The film was awesome and even looked good last night on my regular TV - it is an instant classic - even iof you are not a SW fan

Please re-do "Top Gun" in some foremat like this - I can't think of a btter movie (so re-produced) that would finally push me into "plasma" world.

Kelly McGillis in a flight suit & F-14's !!!!!!!!!!!
