Our best chance at FAs to come here will be

Recommended Posts

After Ralph taking so much heat because of the CBA debates, people are now doubting our chance at FAs. I think one can expect some ex Rams and bears to be invited to our organization in the very near future. Just an observation.

Good point -- which is why I doubt that we will be quite the mover and shaker in free agency that many of us would like. I hate to say it, but we will probably be in the position of having to OVERPAY for some players.

There's also going to be guys out there looking for a fresh start that may see a real opportunity by coming to a place like Buffalo where there will be so much competition for starting jobs. Some of these guys may be perceived as over-the-hill (Mawae), while others may be guys who have never lived up to their potential but may thrive in a new city -- guys like our very own Mike Williams and Josh Reed.

This is where the pro scouts are going to have to earn their money.

I find it hard to draw a line between Fairchild coaching the offense and Pickett or Lewis wanting to follow him.

No, but i can easily draw a line between kollar, the ex rams DL caoch coaching our D-line and pickett or lewis wanting to play for him again.
