2003Contenders Posted March 9, 2006 Share Posted March 9, 2006 Good point -- which is why I doubt that we will be quite the mover and shaker in free agency that many of us would like. I hate to say it, but we will probably be in the position of having to OVERPAY for some players. There's also going to be guys out there looking for a fresh start that may see a real opportunity by coming to a place like Buffalo where there will be so much competition for starting jobs. Some of these guys may be perceived as over-the-hill (Mawae), while others may be guys who have never lived up to their potential but may thrive in a new city -- guys like our very own Mike Williams and Josh Reed.
