But here goes! Well I'm on record here about restocking the O-Line and D-Line. This is an attempt to convey how they might do just that...

1st round:

Pick #10 traded to Broncos for #'s 16 and 30.

#16 Eric Winston, OLT, University of Miami

#30 Gabriel Watson, DT, University of Michigan

2nd round:

#45 Orien Harris, DT, University of Miami

3rd round:

#67 (from Tenn.) Eric Henderson, DE, Georgia Tech

#75 Matt Lentz, OG, University of Michigan

#100 (hopefully, a Comp. pick) Grayling Love, C, Arizona State

The Michigan/ Miami picks are NOT because I'm a fan of these teams, I just think these guys can play.

Couple this with a free agent period signing of Nate Clements, Reggie Wayne, andLeCharles Bentley and I think next years edition is pretty well built!!!

trading the # 10 pick has its advantages and disadvantages. The positive is you dont pay the big signing bonus but on the flip side you hopefully dont pick in the top ten for many years to come so you might want to draft a potential stud.

Also now you have two 1st round picks to sign. I know we did it before with Evans and JP but there could always be a problem with hold outs and salary structure. Throw in 3 or 4 2nd round picks. How do you fit all these rookies under the cap?

I do like the players you mentioned especially Winston who many consider the best tackle in the draft at 6-7 300 + lbs. With Peters at right tackle and winston at left tackle that would be two bookends on our o-line and both were former tight ends. Preston at center and now your looking for a couple guards who may already be on the team.

I've checked three other mocks, and Winston goes no lower than 7 in those three.  Watson goes higher than 30th in two of them.  I think this mock is probably wishful thinking.

By most accounts Winston is a top 10 pick but Watson has been dropping so he might be there at pick 30. Whereas Harris has been moving up the charts. So while I tend to agree it is wishful thinking I also want to add that I doubt we would soley take linemen with our first 5 picks.

Anyone watch the SEC Champ. game yesterday ? That Guard from Georgia, Gilles, stood out. ( #74 ) . He had multiple plays at both RG and LG. Just bowled over people in the running game and showed great pulling ability on sweeps. Has the ability to play tackle. Good pass blocker.

I'd wouldn't be upset if we drafted him.

in a fantasy world my attempt

trade Willis McGahee and next years first round pick for the 2nd or 3rd pick, whatever gets us Reggie Bush, assuming that he leaves early. He creates match up problems and might become the best back in the NFL, then with the circa 10th pick draft Haloti Ngata, if he leaves early, 2nd choice would be Watson or Wright, however if DE Mario Williams leaves early and he is still there, draft him, so ideally Mario Williams.

then in the 2nd assuming we got Ngata draft Dominique Byrd TE out of USC, I think he is more pro ready at TE than any other TE in this draft, he runs solid routes and blocks well.

in the 3rd I get Maurice Stovall, great size and an athletic ability, I feel strongly that young QB need big WR.

talant-whatever is left. but include as a late round pick Garrett Mills, 6'2" 235 TE, that could play FB, and catches the ball very well.

resign Clements and sign Jeff backus, also extend Moulds contract, and williams...yes i know, but we could save money while keeping talant.

not sold on Wayne, I feel he is the 2nd coming of Peerless, whom we could have anyways

so breakdown

extend moulds, and williams

resign Clements

sign Backus

Figure out the Posey (CUT HIM!!!!) situation, along with the Adams (KEEP HIM, Please) situation

1-Reggie Bush RB (after mcgahee trade with 2007 1st ronder)

1b-Haloti Ngata DT

2-Dominique Byrd TE

3-Maurice Stovall WR

3b-talant

4""

5""

6-Garett Mills FB

7 talants

yes i know but one can dream

Well...I am a Michigan/U Fan...So GREAT Mock!

Seriously though, I had the same thought concerning this Draft...That is, Trade Down a bit, load up on O and D-Linemen, and add a Pass Rushing Specialist...Makes sense to me...Of coarse who really knows where the Prospects will fall at this point, but there will be plenty of options for the Bills if they follow this Plan... :P
