P Riv Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I know we want this to be some sort of statement game that we're that much better than them, but they still played us very tough and even beat us with their crappy 4-13 teams. They have a very young team which we keep talking about, and experienced coaches with a lot of SB rings which we don't mention much. Its going to come down to turnovers and its going to be close. Some interesting stats that serve as markers as the game goes on: 63.2 percent of the time the team that score first wins, 2025 wins when leading at halftime: Bills .692 NE .846. First team to 24 wins 90.8% of the time. Turnover ratio: 0 Turnovers = 50% win rate. If you're +1 in that dept your win rate is 67.5% +2 is 81.1% +3 is 95.7% So we need to score first off a turnover, lead at halftime, then reach 24 first off another turnover. Easy! lol 1 1 Quote
atlbillsfan1975 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If the Bills beat the Pats by two scores or more and it’s a clean game by the Bills then the pressure gets turned up big time on the Pats. All the narratives around the Pats season become louder and the young QB will need to show he is who all NE fans want him to be, the next Brady. I want to win this game but honestly the Bills are in a different place than the Pats, it’s Super Bowl or bust for the Bills. Even Pats fans admit this is a year or two sooner than they thought the turnaround would take. They will settle for a playoff birth and maybe win one game. 1 1 Quote

Easy! lol They're actually older in some key areas... Both teams are about the same in starting depth chart age 32 minutes ago, P Riv said: I know we want this to be some sort of statement game that we're that much better than them, but they still played us very tough and even beat us with their crappy 4-13 teams. Easy! lol I just don't know if it's as big as a game as ppl are making it. Sure the division would be nice but I honestly don't care. If we win, maybe we still end up the 5 or 6 If we lose, we still end up the 5 or 6 And if we beat the pats in January, nobody will care about the pats winning the division lol 2 Quote

BUT, from a momentum perspective this game IS big. We win and carry loads of momentum into the last three games of the season and the playoffs. We win and New England loses all their season long built up momentum (bye week off, then a loss to the Bills) and questions start to creep in for them, making it maybe a little more possible that they drop a game to the Jets (yea right) or Dolphins (dolphins COULD play spoiler with their run game and improved D). Momentum is real, both in games and in season. Quote
