Worthy might not be nowhere like Coleman is - but he's looked at as a Bust by fans. Even Reid hasn't been complimentary of him:

Literally the only people who talk about him as anything special are Bills fans who still complain about trading him to the Chiefs.

Grass is always greener on the other side when looking from a distance. Had Coleman and Worthy switched places, there will be equal amount of people complaining we picked another smallish guy, pointing out Coleman making those TD catches etc.

So for all the comments regarding how poor Coleman is, from article in todays Athletic regarding #3 overall pick Abdul Carter, article also talked about some of the things LT did back in the day and apparently Parcells allowed.   Article states Daboll tended to look the other way with Carter, but the guy who took over for him

Carter had to sit out the opening series of the Giants’ Week 11 loss to the Packers, after he was asleep in the team facility at the time of the walk-through, Dan reported. (Carter denied the charge, saying on social media he was undergoing recovery, not sleeping.)

Just two weeks later, Carter was again benched, this time for the entire first quarter of Monday’s loss to the Patriots. The reason? He missed a special teams meeting. After the game, Carter said, “S— happens,” before later apologizing for letting his teammates down.

Taylor used to miss time for other reasons. One Sunday night, he drove home from playing golf, saw the stadium lights on and realized he was missing his team’s game. “I thought it was a Monday night game,” Taylor told James Brown. “I (told Parcells), don’t blame me. Blame the foursome in front of me. They were so slow.”

When his Giants defensive coordinator, Bill Belichick, told head coach Bill Parcells about Taylor’s tardiness, Parcells asked, “Well, why’d you start the meeting before he got there?”

Well said and hard to argue. Though you don’t know how it would pan out. Worthy is in a friendly situation given Mahomes/Kelce/Rice and Reid as the coach. Not been that impressed with him myself. Best moments of his were the garbage time in the Super Bowl when Philly called the dogs off and the game was borderline won.

Not likely he becomes the guy we would have needed him to be if he’s struggling to make it work in KC.
