  1. 1. What is your vibe going into KC?

    • We have won in the past and didn't matter

    • Must win for Home field advantage
      60
    • A win doesn't sell me on anything, KC isn't as good as they once were

    • A loss would be devastating to our trajectory

If they win and get to 6-2 that will NOT feel like a lose situation.

I'll take that kind of lose situation

Not overly confident of a win for the Bills in this one, but cautiously optimistic.  If the Bills win, I think they are winning their division. A loss and I think it is likely a wild card berth.  If the passing game looks like it has the last few weeks, I don't see the Bills winning. Let's hope that isn't the case. I see the Chiefs game planning to take away Cook, so it is up the Josh Allen and crew to make them pay.

If Brady can't come up with SOMETHING to let Allen play like at least a C+ QB, then it's better to know now

semi related question, has any superbowl winning head coach ever muttered the words 'complementary football'?

well, Grok says no, that's loser speak:

No, there is no public record of any Super Bowl-winning head coach using the exact phrase "complementary football" meaning coordinated play across offense, defense, and special teams). This phrase appears frequently in NFL coaching interviews and analyses, but it's typically used by non-Super Bowl winners like Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn (Jan. 2025 press conference), Kentucky's Mark Stoops (2021), Clemson's Dabo Swinney (2025), and Wisconsin's Luke Fick (2024). Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur (Super Bowl XLV winner as offensive coordinator, but not head coach) has used it post-game in 2024.

Not sure if others caught it on the Monday Night broadcast, but at one point, one of the announcers was talking about his conversations with Mahomes and Nagy during the week and he said that the Chiefs offense has taken on a new acronym mantra: "EGE---which means, "Everybody's Gotta Eat."

Damn, the Chiefs are so innovative. If only our coaches were as smart. 😉
