Non-citizens are not allowed to vote and none of these laws gave them this right. It simply allowed illegals to obtain non-federal driver's licenses in hopes to prevent dangerous and illegal driving. There is a big difference between MN's automatic voter registration, which involves thorough vetting, and election day voter precinct registration. The weak point in election day precinct registration is that you must provide ID and proof of residency, but only sign a binding attestation form that you are a legal voter and not committing a federal crime. Ok. Let me ask you this. How does it make sense that an illegal, who is trying to make money, live, most often find a path to legal status and/or maintain residency, and most often has poor English skills (especially reading and writing), wants to risk exposing themselves to deportation by trying to fraudulently vote? In massive numbers?? Because the legal, non-citizen immigrants that I know hate having to submit to any government check of their identities. How are illegals driven in the opposite direction to shine a light on themselves while knowingly committing this federal crime? https://dps.mn.gov/divisions/dvs/license-and-id/dl-all The Driver’s License for All initiative expanded the accepted types of documentation required for Minnesotans to receive a standard driver’s license or identification (ID) card. Passed in 2023, Minnesota joined 18 other states, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, to allow a standard driver’s license to be issued without proof of immigration status. Automatic Voter Registration: https://www.sos.mn.gov/elections-voting/register-to-vote/automatic-voter-registration/ Automatic voter registration is called automatic because of its convenience for applicants. In fact, the process of registering someone to vote under this new law is complex and involves multiple points of human verification. Since there is a 20-day opt-out period and a verification process, voter registration may take 4-6 weeks from when a person first applies for their state-issued ID. Minnesotans can check their voter registration status online. https://www.sos.mn.gov/elections-voting/register-to-vote/register-on-election-day/ https://www.sos.mn.gov/elections-voting/register-to-vote/ Who can vote in Minnesota: To vote you must be: A U.S. citizen At least 18 years old on Election Day (16 & 17 year olds can pre-register) A resident of Minnesota for 20 days Not currently incarcerated for a felony conviction Not under a court order that revokes your right to vote I don't know. Why would an illegal rape and kill a US citizen knowing that will put them in jail and evicted in this country? Why would they sell drugs? Commit a violent crime? People risk themselves and do stupid stuff all the time. This is a the same state that currently has a fraud case with bribery over a group of Somali's who stole funds from a charity who helps hungry kids. Why would they risk deportation and/or jail time? I voted in California YEARS ago when I wasn't even registered in that state lol. Didn't need to show ID...I just walked in the booth. 4 minutes ago, Roundybout said: Migrants pay taxes too. https://itep.org/undocumented-immigrants-taxes-2024/ Taxation without representation is illiberal. Are they illegal migrants or legal migrants? They want socialism. You would be okay with that? You would be okay for the government to take your home? No more property ownership? Sure sounds like it.

By the way, Trump is already doing socialism with his price floors. Any thoughts on that?

The rest of your examples are attempts to make money surreptitiously and not get caught. Why would an illegal go through the risk of getting caught first before committing the crime? Is there some evidence of a massive payoff if they successfully cast one vote?

Why would an illegal brutally rape and kill someone? Would that not get them deported too? You philosophy of "why would they do that?" is not a good argument.

Your philosophy of trying to equate everyone who enters this country illegally without a temporary visa as having the mindset of a violent criminal is truly ignorant and spineless. Why would people who come to this country for a better life including to make money, risk all that by exposing themselves before they could even place a vote? Why would they do this in large numbers? You are the one who posted on this issue. I would like you to present an argument on how this is a reasonable and significant (widespread) occurrence In Minnesota? Because all the social media crap you presented is outdated, ignorant, and mostly garbage. Edited yesterday at 04:13 PM by GaryPinC

You are the one who posted on this issue. I would like you to present an argument on how this is a reasonable and significant (widespread) occurrence In Minnesota? Because all the social media crap you presented is outdated, ignorant, and mostly garbage. That is not my mindset. That is you putting words in my mouth. I didn't say they are all violent criminals. I said they are all criminals. You seem to think that entering a country illegally isn't a crime even though it's a federal offense. That's a spineless lie. Even if .01% of the 20 million are violent criminals, that's still 200,000 extra violent criminals in this country. Would you feel comfortable knowing that you live right next to one of these criminals? Tell me why or why not. Why would they do this in large numbers? Well geez, if they vote on the Democratic side, they have a much better chance to stay in this country, get benefits and not held as accountable for crime. This is not hard to figure out. Why would this person who wanted a better life in the US commit a crime that would get them kicked out? https://www.dhs.gov/news/2025/07/23/criminal-illegal-alien-accused-murdering-15-year-old-and-attempting-rape-mother Why wouldn't you want to live next to this person above? Your whole philosophy of "why would they do it" is really stupid. Are you going to say "It's only $250 million...no big deal". https://www.irs.gov/compliance/criminal-investigation/minneapolis-woman-pleads-guilty-in-250-million-feeding-our-future-fraud-scheme 50% of migrants in MN committed immigration fraud. We are talking hundreds of thousands. https://nypost.com/2025/09/30/us-news/bombshell-ice-sweep-in-minneapolis-st-paul-finds-50-of-immigrants-had-committed-immigration-fraud-after-massive-arrival-uptick-from-somalia/ You can back criminals all you want, I won't.

Somewhere Democratic Governor candidate Phil Angelides (had to look that one up) is giving a speech that says, "Actually, we DID win in 2006 ..."
