I have a feeling that Maxwell is not going to get in a game this year. My question is...Can Strong be enough to stop the bleeding once he is off IR? Do they need to get a #2 somehow before the trade deadline? I believe DB is the one thing that absolutely has to be fixed before the deadline.

 

As far as LB, Williams having a neck injury does not sound great. I want to know why in the world they brought Milano back early because now they are screwed at LB for probably another month. I think they can get by with the schedule on the LB side of things but is it Buffalo Joe that now slots in there?

I think they will definitely be adding a CB by the trade deadline. LB a different story. They have guys already who can hold it together until Milano returns. IMHO

Williams doesn't have a neck injury.  His was a knee and he may be practicing this week.  Strong has the neck injury and is seeing a specialist.

I wouldn't rely on Milano for a playoff run.   He is held together by popsicle sticks now.

Milano "returns"?  Dude is toast.  Stick a fork in him.

I do think Mad Max will get back but he’s probably not gonna get his 21 day window opened until after the bye. Which probably puts a return within 2-3 weeks after the bye. Not ideal as that’s gonna put him coming back around week 10/11. But that at least gets him roughly 6-7 games to get his legs under him.

 

That being said it’s very clear that the defense could use a piece. I don’t what the ideal piece is.
