Now the real fun, what round did he draft Lofton or Bisquit? Get your facts straight. You want to argue Harrison or Freeney or Wayne? Now you have a case. Otherwise you are a Bills drunk fool. Later picks DO COUNT, it’s the only reason he’s employed. My issue is the lack or elite talent. Nobody would question him if he was a Roseman type who was hitting on all the 1st round picks, the problem is he wastes pick after pick when the pool is deep. Don’t tell me you are an elite talent evaluator when you have Elam 5 rounds higher than Benford when Benford has the job 2 weeks into training camp. But I told you 3 top 5 players (and 1 top 10) at their position that he drafted and you dismissed it. 3 of those 4 players are at premium positions. That’s not a lack of elite talent. You’re acting like we’re some middling team and not one of the most successful teams in the league the past 5 years. I’m not sure he’s an elite talent evaluator. But he’s def good. As to Elam versus Benford clearly there’s something all teams missed with regard to Benford and Elam is seemingly not doing terribly in Dallas. There are a lot of variable that can be hard to control for and it causes the great talent to be overlooked (ffs look at TB12). Quote
SCBills Posted August 23 Posted August 23 This Draft has two potential future starters that the staff is developing on the OL in Van Pran Granger and Grable. Not much to go off of, but given their faith in them and ability to build an OL with Kromer here, that alone would be a huge boost to the view of this draft class. Ray Davis is the prototype RB2. I don’t necessarily have a ton of hope for Carter. Seemed the fanbase didn’t love the pick from jump and he’s done nothing to change that opinion. Bishop, we have no clue what he is.. he could be a Terrel Bernard.. he could be a bust. We’ll find out this year. Keon turning into a high end WR2 or potential WR1 would single-handedly save the draft class. I have to say.. I’m getting extremely bullish on him as it’s becoming clear Josh Allen (and the coaching staff) trust him. 1 1 Quote
