Listening to WKBW radio in the late ‘60’s was my introduction to top 40 radio. FM radio wasn’t a thing. I couldn’t do it justice explaining just how great a summertime experience listening to ‘KB was.

I had only learned about it recently from the Charlie Sheen doc as well. I was surprised I had never seen anything about that before though

I got to see it live. Some of the neighborhood mothers went and took us kids. First there was Rocketship 7 on the right side of the studio, and then Dialing for Dollars on the left. It looked so much smaller in person. We sat in bleachers, and I spilled my orange soda on my pants. 😩
