But we should definitely trust the research about where political violence comes from.

When Charlie went on Bill's podcast a few months ago, the very first thing they discussed was which one of them was more likely to be taken out by a woke LEFTIST.

This is getting to be too much.

An 'educational assistant' that doesn't know the difference between 'it's' and 'its.'

(cont'd) murdered schoolchildren in Nashville, burned an elderly Jewish woman to death in Colorado, murdered a couple at the Jewish embassy in D.C., seized campus buildings and held janitors hostage, assaulted students on campus who appeared Jewish, ambushed ICE officers in Dallas and shot an officer in the neck, assassinated FBI officer David Underwood, assassinated the United Healthcare CEO, cheered the murder of over 1,200 civilians on October 7th, murdered schoolkids in Colorado in 2019, injured over 700 police offers in 2020 riots, murdered retired police captain David Dorn, murdered a 16-year-old boy in "CHAZ", burned down Minneapolis, firebombed a Washington ICE center, murdered six people in Waukesha, assassinated five Dallas officers in 2016, assassinated three police in Baton Rouge in 2016 (you know what, we're going to stop now, this is getting sad).

So these guys try the Charlie Kirk inspired civil debate model. It starts fine with a single student having a discussion with these guys ......then the mob shows up.

FTA:

Gutfeld answered with a line that should settle the debate for anyone paying attention to the realities of public life:

The left calls Trump a hatemonger. They have called me a hatemonger because I ridicule … the left, I ridicule protesters, I ridicule academia, Hollywood, the news media. I make fun of The View every day. I make fun of the UN. Guess what? No one acts on the things that I say because my side doesn’t do that.”

There’s a crucial distinction there. Gutfeld didn’t say that conservatives never use ugly words. He said that conservatives don’t weaponize that language into violence.

“We say people are stupid, we say people are wrong, but we don’t say they’re evil,” he told her. That’s exactly the point too many on the left refuse to grasp:

Rhetoric matters, but context and follow-through matter more.

You can see the difference right here in PPP.

The right leaning posters here ridicule and mock the left constantly. Heck I even call the Marxist ones commies. But we don't call for violence against anyone.

The there's Roundy who will be very pleased to hear about murdered ICE agents and Quack supporting swatting of those and the right and longing for civil war.

We are not the same.
