If each team has 22 starters and you figure the average player’s career is five years that means you have to replace EVERY player in Rounds 1-5 over that five year period. Yes, I know it’s not exact. And yes I know you’ll pick up a guy in free agency….but that guy you picked up was almost surely taken by someone else in Round 1-5. So….where you take a player has never been all that important to me. Eventually you’re going to assemble and then reassemble your roster from those Five Rounds.
