Terry Tate Posted May 31, 2005 Share Posted May 31, 2005 I just saw the previews for that. I like Burton and Depp too...but this looks awful. Depp seems to play Willy Wonka like Michael Jackson. Plus...frankly, Gene Wilder was perfect as Willy Wonka. I can't see anyone else playing that part, even Depp. 347855[/snapback] BTW, the author of the book, Roald Dahl, didn't want anything to do with the original movie.
