Both teams moved the ball up and down the field most of the night with success but Tennessee found the end zone more times than the Bills and that was ultimately the deciding factor in the game.

The way this is worded puts the emphasis on the O, but notice it could be re-worded "the Bills defense allowed Tenn. into the endzone more times than the Tenn. defense allowed the Bills O".

Buffalo had a chance to win it late finding themselves down three with about three minutes remaining. Josh Allen and company moved the ball effectively and took the ball deep into Titans territory with less than one minute to play. After a Josh Allen run was marked just short of the chains, Sean McDermott and company decided to get aggressive. With Josh Allen under center, Buffalo figured the team would be able to pick up the half-yard necessary to set up a first and goal scenario. Unfortunately for Buffalo that plan failed with the left side of the offensive line getting blown up and Allen being taken down for no gain.

He gives 4 reasons to be encouraged and 7 reasons to worry.  The former are the Bills WR and Josh Allen.

The reasons to worry start out with defense: Pass Rush, Run Defense, Coverage.

I think McDermott would say "it all starts up front".  On that note two of his points:

Offensive line

Despite the Bills moving the ball up and down the field all night, Tennessee defense won several battles against the Bills’ offensive line. Rookie Spencer Brown had a rough performance, Mitch Morse was beaten on an early sack and the left side of the line let down Allen and company multiple times. Allen took three sacks in the loss as well as eight QB hits.

It was a disappointing night for both lines.

Penalties

Another killer for the Bills were penalties. Penalties took away two touchdowns from the Bills. Dawson Knox had a touchdown run nullified by an Emmanuel Sanders hold and Isaiah McKenzie had a kick return touchdown brought back on an Andre Smith holding penalty.

At the end of the night, Buffalo was penalized eight times for 60 yards.

Losing 2 TDs on penalties was huge.

When is said and done, that right there is the biggest issue. Scoring TDs is hard, you can't shoot yourself when you do.

The penalty on Smith was so obvious, and so unnecessary. He has to be smarter than that.
