HappyDays Posted January 4, 2021 Share Posted January 4, 2021 In weighted DVOA (takes recent games into account more than early season games) the Bills are the #1 overall team heading into the postseason: https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/nfl/team-efficiency/2020 Saints are a very close 2nd, then it's Bucs, Packers, and Seahawks rounding out the top 5. Colts are 9th. Every team in the top 10 is in the playoffs. Titans, Redskins, Bears, and Browns all fall outside the top 10; Cleveland is the worst at 18th overall. Other notable rankings: Offensive weighted DVOA 5th Pass DVOA 3rd Rush DVOA 22nd Defensive weighted DVOA 8th Pass DVOA 12th Rush DVOA 17th (our full season DVOA weighing all games equally is 12th, so that shows you how much we've improved in recent weeks) Special teams weighted DVOA 2nd So heading into the post season we have the 5th best offense, 8th best defense, and 2nd best special teams in the league.
