I work marketing for a major manufacturer of essential stuff in a factory/warehouse though I'm office staff. I could work from home, but would feel out of sorts with the biggest part of the team hourly and factory/warehouse staff. Heck, they have to build/ship the stuff I put together and it's much easier to just walk out to the floor to talk to the supervisors than to try to call them.
