He , like Hyde and Poyer and Tre , have all been aligned with a HC that knows the defensive secondary and how to get the most out of his players in the back end The whole of the defense is greater than the sum of their parts...much like an ant colony or a bee colony...everyone has it's role to play and the entire colony relies on all of them to do their roles properly for the entire colony to thrive. Same with the Bills D. They are kind of like 11 players all in sync with each other which leaves them very sound and forces a lot of really good throws to beat them.
